The schedule looks a bit different over the next few months due to the bank holidays and extra classes I'm offering:

🌱 April :

✨ Monday 6pm class at Bricks - please note there will be no classes on the bank holiday Mondays and on the 13th April, the class will have a cover teacher :)

✨ There will be an extra 6-7pm Dynamic class offered by myself at The Langton Wellness Hub | BS4 Brislington St. Anne's on Wed 29th April though, so I hope some can make this :).

🌸 May:

✨ Mon 6pm class at Bricks - there's no class on the bank holidays and no class on the 18th May due to a booking in the Mill room.

✨ I will be offering extra classes at The Langton Wellness Hub | BS4 Brislington St. Anne's in May though which will be:

* Wed 6th May - 6.30-7.45pm - Slow Flow with Violin Shavasana
* Fri 8th May - 9.30-10.30am - Morning Vinyasa and (optional) brunch.

Hello lovely people!

It's been such a joy to practice with you all this past month since being back in Bristol. It has been a buuuuuusy March but I'm feeling really elevated from it all.

I just wanted to jump on here with a few quick updates and reminders πŸ’š.

✨ Monday Yoga crew - there are a few dates in April and May where there will be no class due to the bank holidays, as well as a one off date where St Anne's house have an event on.

These dates are:

πŸ—“οΈ Mon 6th April, Mon 4th May, Mon 18th May, Mon 25th May.

✨ A gentle reminder to anyone feeling symptoms of an illness to refrain from joining the class until they feel better (for your own wellbeing and others). I know there is a lot going around and as classes get busy, I want to make sure we look after each other and reduce the likelihood of spreading anything. Thanks for understanding πŸ’š.

✨ New date for Yoga and brunch at - Fri 8th may 9.30-10.30am 😁. Feel free to join just for the class, or join for a coffee and brunch after!

✨ This week, I'm teaching the 6pm Thursday class but I have to shoot off to play a gig 🎻 so the wonderful

✨ Satya - Truthfulness

In Yoga philosophy, the second Yama (ethical guideline) emphasizes honesty with ourselves and others, balanced with compassion, or ahimsa (non-violence).

When I'm offering Yoga, I really try to strive for authenticity in delivering a class. Interestingly, the more I plan, the less genuine I feel. I find it more beneficial to dedicate time to my own practice before teaching, allowing me to experience and reflect on my personal journey. This is often not necessarily what I then teach in class. This approach however, enables me to share with genuine passion and attune to the needs of those I practice with, offering what feels best in the moment.

I know it's really different for every teacher and so there's no right or wrong for this and I'm really aware that we all work in different ways. This way is, for me the more authentic path.

There were some really heartfelt goodbyes this week as I taught my final classes of 2025 before heading to India in Jan (I'll be back in mid Feb).

I've been really touched by some really lovely messages I've received and it really means the world to me to hear of people really getting so much out of the regular Yoga offerings.

Please know how thankful I am for all of you for creating and maintaining such a warm, welcoming and inclusive space to share a Yoga practice in. It's always great to see people connect, form friendships and share experiences in class. These shared experiences can sometimes be really powerful and I love those beautiful moments when we're all synced up with our breath and movement. Western modern society can feel often like it's becoming increasingly fragmented, so these moments of bonding and group experiences can be such a great way to build trust and allow us to feel more open to others.

I know coming to a 'real life' class can feel really daunting, especially if you're new to it, if you're thinking of joining a class in 2026 and have any questions or concerns, please do feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to chat!

Thursday Slow Flow Crew - a few of me have messaged to say you've struggled with booking on to the class.

Apologies it's a bit confusing!

This last class is a donation based class that's free to book onto. Because of this I've had to set it up as a different class, separate to the usual 7.15pm class.

To book, head to the booking site as per usual and scroll down to select 'Donation based Thursday Slow Flow' and you'll see the class for the 18th there.

Beautiful skies and musings about non-attachment.

If you were in Bristol this morning, it's likely you looked outside as daylight started to creep in and felt in awe of the insanely beautiful sky. The vibrant shades of pink brought a little moment of joy on a cold winter's morning.

It was only an hour or so later when I was on my way to teach my first class when I realised that the gorgeous sky had been replaced by a miserable, thick grey cloud accompanied by a splash of cold drizzle.

Aparigraha is, in Yoga philosophy, the fifth Yama (the ethical guidelines) and it translates to this idea of non-attachment.

Today's sky is such a great example of how things are in a constant state of flux and change. How something can go from being so breathtakingly wonderful...to a bit underwhelming.

When we recognise the endless change in life and let go of trying to only chase or notice only the good times, it can make it harder when things change and become more challenging.

Basically non Aparigraha can help us to observe and feel the good the bad and everything in between - we are here to feel all of it and recognise that the only thing that is constant is change. This may help us feel more content and free.

Hey loves!

So there's only a few weeks left of classes before the end of the year and before I take a break in Jan. I thought I'd jump on here to give you details about my Christmas 🎁 schedule and what's happening in Jan when I'm away from Bristol.

For the next few weeks, all classes will run as usual except for

✨ Thurs 11th Slow Flow will be covered by

✨ Last Thursday classes at will be the 18th of Dec.

✨ Thursday classes will return on Thurs 8th Jan and will be covered by , and until I'm back to teach on Thurs 19th Feb.

The last Monday night class at will be on Mon 15th Dec and it will be paused until Mon 23rd Feb.

Any class passes purchased will have up to four months to be used, so hopefully the Monday night class pause shouldn't affect anyone who has purchased one :)
