ππΎHi lovelies, I haven't done one of these 'hi it's me' kind of posts for a few years now, so thought now's a good time.
I'm Lucy, I've been offering Yoga classes in my local area and in and around Bristol for coming up to five years now. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do and it's been a long old slog to get to become fully self employed. It can be hectic and tiring but I adore it and wouldn't have it any other way!
I have the absolute best crew of regular folk who have been so supportive and committed to coming to classes over the years. Many have now become good friends and I've learned so much from all of you (you all bring me so much joy).
I owe a huge thank you to EveJuniper Yoga from The Langton Wellness Hub | BS4 Brislington St. Anne's for offering me so much help and support when I was starting out. Thank you for reminding me to value my worth and to set boundaries as well as helping to build my confidence in teaching.
My classes aim to create a super inclusive but also fun and challenging practice, weaving in philosophy in a way I feel can be digested by those of us living in a busy Western society. I'm not the most bendy or strongest Yogi by any measure, but I'm super passionate about what I do and I hope that this comes through in my classes.
A little about me...
As well as offering Yoga classes, I offer massage treatments and I'm also a musician π» (violinist) who regularly performs over the weekends at all kinds of events, from festivals, pubs and club nights, to weddings and private events.
I'm obsessed with food (I'm the kind of person who goes to bed excited about having breakfast in the morning).
And very random but I just have to say...I love smelling things...some of my all time favourites include Jasmine flowers, my cat's fur and the classic one...new books.
I think that's enough for now haha.
