Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who has and continues to support my small business. It’s definitely not the easiest of times for most at the moment with rising costs across the board. But silly season is upon us (I don’t know why, but this time of year has always been my busiest) and October was the busiest month on record so far.

How did I celebrate I hear you ask?! Well, I’ll tell you, this Wednesday took herself to bed for a 13 hour sleep, that’s how! 🤣💪🏻🖤

And now for a snippet of the Southern leg of my African Adventure. We left Victoria Falls and headed south through Zimbabwe with stops at Hwange National Park where we had to have a couple of guys stay up overnight patrolling for Lions entering our camping area as we were in the middle of nowhere, and Matobo National Park. We then left Zimbabwe and headed back into South Africa with stops at Makushu Village for a homestay experience, and Kruger National Park, before returning full circle to Johannesburg. An incredible trip with memories to last a lifetime. ❤️

As promised for those of you who aren't on my personal Facebook, here is a little snippet of the north leg of my African Adventure. Starting in Johannesburg, we headed through Botswana including the amazing Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park and then headed into Zimbabwe at the mighty Victoria Falls for some adrenaline activities! South leg to follow. x

Also here’s a great infographic on how to keep your puppy’s joints and soft tissue healthy as they’re growing. Lots of people don’t realise the damage that can be done during their early days.

I will be holding a Clinical Canine Massage Clinic at Bristol Canine Hydrotherapy Center in Warmley on Wednesday 29th October between 10am and 2pm.

Canine Massage is a great standalone treatment but also works brilliantly alongside other therapies including hydrotherapy.

Perhaps your dog has been suffering with an ongoing ni**le or they're getting older and Arthritis is starting to have an impact on their mobility, or maybe you've simply noticed a change in their behaviour or day to day activities? Any of these are good reasons to have an assessment and commence Canine Massage and/or other therapies to help support your dog through an injury or older age.

Please do get in touch if you'd like to find out more or to book your dog a slot at the clinic.

A great day today at Celestine Dog Training for our regular Canine Massage Clinic. Eight dogs through the doors for their maintenance treatments, some to give them a check over for their agility competitions and some to support their mobility through their golden years. Either way, I always come out having received plenty of licks and love and donning an extra fur coat! 😍

Such a lovely afternoon seeing this handsome chap. He got all the luck in the looks department and none of the luck in the musculoskeletal system department. At 6 years old, he really has been through the mill over the years.

I treated Riley initially several years ago to help support him following a diagnosis of bilateral hip dysplasia. He has since had surgeries to both elbows due to fractures as a result of a condition called Humeral Intracondylar Fissures. We’ve now resumed massage treatments to help him through the rehab process alongside regular hydrotherapy.

We will then put together an ongoing maintenance plan which will continue to help support his mobility and inevitable muscular issues which will arise as a result of his abnormal gait.

That face though! 😍
