Class update

I’ll no longer be running our Thursday evening class at Bristol School of Yoga- Our last class will be Thursday 25th September

I have loved sharing my Thursday evenings with you and will miss this class a lot - this wasn’t an easy decision to make 🧡

A couple of additional Thursday class updates:

- No class on Thursday 11th September

- Classes will run as usual on 18th and 25th September

- On the 25th, I’d love to head for a drink around the corner after class for anyone who’d like to join — a little goodbye to our Thursday sessions!

I recently ran a workshop where we looked at the fundamentals of the Ashtanga practice. I loved sharing more of the theory behind the practice at this workshop and having time for discussions. With the extra time and balance in my week, I’m looking forward to planing more workshops and ad-hoc sessions — including full Primary Led classes — so do keep an eye out for those!

Finding balance ⚖️
For me 2025 has been focussed on finding balance. With a whole lot of new to start the year including starting a new job I’ve been trying (with a lot of trial and error) to find balance in my week.

When teaching I always want to make sure I have time for my own practice as well as continually studying the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga sequence and philosophy.

This reduced schedule allows me to honor the Ashtanga Vinyasa teachings in my classes and continue to learn.

Our classes will offer a space to practice in a way that works for you. If there is something specific you would like to learn or focus on more in classes do let me know, I will happily incorporate new focuses into class and use your feedback to guide my learnings 💛

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Bristol 🧡

My teaching is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series, which is an energetic set sequence of synchronised movement and breath designed to cleanse the body and focus the mind.

All levels welcome - I love adapting classes to make them accessible for beginners and exploring asana modifications for individuals as I believe Ashtanga yoga can be for everyone. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of attending a class 🧡

Short form Ashtanga vinyasa classes will include guided breathing exercises followed by sun salutations and sections of the primary series. This concludes with asana designed to slow the breath and recentre.

📢 New Class 📢

Every Tuesday 7:15 - 8:15 pm Community class 💛

Gentle Movement and Restorative class- book through

This session will include guided cleansing breath and gentle intentional movement through the whole body. We will then slowly move through positions which will explore your range of movement whilst using as many bolsters and blankets as you would like for support, helping you to relax the nervous system and release tension.

This class will be great to help you relax and unwind at the end of the day.

If you have a regular Ashtanga practice this class will be perfect to support your practice or be there for slower days 🩸 when a full practice isn’t possible xx
