Caffeine
I know this might be hard to hear, I didn’t want to give it up when I was trying to conceive but the truth is, caffeine intake can decrease fertility in both men and women!

👉 Caffeine increases cortisol levels and stresses the adrenals, interfering with ovulation.
👉 Caffeine depletes vital vitamins and minerals - including B vitamins and folate, needed for ovulation and healthy fertility.

But the good news is, when you work with someone to stabilise your blood sugar and energy levels and work with your cycle. You may find getting off that caffeine rollercoaster so much easier

As someone who was launched into the later stages of Perimenopause at 43, I know how this journey can be!

I consider myself lucky because my work and training as a health coach, with a focus on reproductive health, equipped me with a solid nutritional and lifestyle foundation which I believe enabled my body to cope well with the changes.

My most notable and without a doubt debilitating symptom is hot flushes. But the severity of these is very much linked to how on it I am with my personal health goals.

Everyone is different when it comes to their health in Perimenopause but having someone guide you along the way, talk about your symptoms and explore together solutions can make the world of difference to your experience. 💚

The truth is, if you want results then you need to put in the work.
So often I hear, I too busy to implement changes or I can’t start this at the moment because I have too much on.

“If nothing changes then nothing changes”

You have two choices, you keep pushing your mental health and your body, you “keep pulling on that rubber band” and eventually it will snap. A health issue will show up in some way.

Or, you begin your health journey today, small steps, adding more as your new habits become ingrained in your life. And you learn to manage your health body in body and mind.

DM the word “READY” to open the conversation about your health if journey today.

One of the best things about the work I do with women is seeing them achieving that change, especially in some cases it being life altering.

Most of the women I work with already have a healthy lifestyle and so aren’t aware of some of the factors that could be holding them back from reaching their desired outcome, whether this be creating consistent energy levels on a daily basis, supporting their body and mind for conception or preparing their body for the impact of perimenopause symptoms.

If you don’t know what is holding you back, how can you change it. The first step is awareness; awareness about the food you eat, awareness about how you manage stressors in your life and awareness of factors that could be holding you back.

👉Nutrition for pregnancy
👉Nutrition in your 40s
👉Nutrition for maintaining consistent energy levels, despite leading a busy lifestyle

It’s not something that is widely known, we aren’t taught it in school and the information out there, unless you know what you are looking for is limited and generalised.

If you lead a busy lifestyle, don’t know where to start but know something somewhere needs to change, I’m here to guide you through that process.

DM the word “READY” to open a conversation around how I can help you.

Did you know, it is possible to reduce the severity of perimenopause symptoms and through certain dietary and lifestyle techniques, make this a smooth hormonal transition

As a hormone health coach who began experiencing noticeable signs of perimenopause at 41, I invite you to join me for a quick overview of key information and tips on four important areas to focus on when managing perimenopause symptoms naturally.

We will discuss:

👉 How to navigate the hormonal roller coaster of oestrogen and progesterone
👉 Gut health and hormones - learn about the set of gut bacteria that can produce and breakdown oestrogen

By celebrating your achievements, no matter how small they are, it paves the way for positive thinking.

Having a positive mindset can be a game changer for protecting our menstrual cycle.

Positivity helps reduce the effects of stress hormones that can throw your cycle out of balance, allowing oestrogen and progesterone to be produced effectively and do their job.

So, practice celebrating your small wins daily to help
• Reduce the impact of PMS
• Protect your cycle to enhance your fertility
• Lessen the impact of Perimenopause and prepare your body for one of its biggest hormonal changes

Every women is affected differently by the hormonal changes the occur in the lead up to menopause and beyond.

Having recently experienced 3 months of hot flashes, which was so frustrating at night, leaving me feeling tired from constantly waking in the night - I pulled out all the hormonal supportive stops I knew to try and get rid of them or at least reduce the severity.

I’m not getting them at the moment and one of the key ways I did this was focusing in on nurturing my gut microbiome and noticing which foods/drink my body was reacting badly too.

We are all different and these fluctuations will occur differently in everyone but know how to support your mind and body in this key time is essential in lessening the severity of the symptoms and your menopause journey.

Hey ladies, did you know you need to prepare your body for menopause. If you are in your late 30s or early 40s, now is the ideal time to start making so key diet and lifestyle adjustments.

Drop the word READY in a DM if you want to find out more 💚

I work with some amazing women and the transformation I see with so many of them is actually so moving for me, making that difference and helping people achieve their desires and heal.

This story particularly touched me due to the length of time my client was trying to conceive. I could really feel how painful it was for her. BUT we achieved the best possible outcome for her and her husband who also embraced the necessary changes and are now in their third trimester 💚

If you know someone who is struggling with their fertility journey, share this with them because given the right conditions the body has an amazing way of doing what it needs to do.

Fertility is not static, it takes 3 months to prepare the body for conception and in this time you can really make a change to your reproductive outcomes.

DM the word FERTILITY if any of the below apply to you:

* struggling to fall pregnant
* about to go for IVF and NEED to optimise your chances
* experiencing secondary infertility
* recurrent miscarriages
* want to optimise your chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy
