We're back and we're open for business again after a bit of a break! Loads of colourful frames on the shelves, waiting to perk up the winter nights.

If you're looking to book in for a test, we are booked until January 28th but we'd love to see you then!

Our Xmas hours will be:
Tuesday 23rd 9-12
24th to 28th Closed
29th 9-5
30th 9-2ish
31st to 2nd Closed
January 3rd 10-3
Then back to normal!

Look out for January 17th. Our first anniversary in North Street. I'll probably have something going on! Keep an eye here.

I've broken down, about two hours ago, and it's sort of looking like I won't get in today. Sorry to let anyone down that might have been coming in, normal service will resume on Tuesday.

Finally got round to rewiring the neon! Nice to have it back up, just in case any passers by were confused as to what we do!

Why am I posting a picture of a bike and not some beautiful specs? Because I'll be riding this down a mountain tomorrow (Friday) instead of being open.

I'll be sure to be the slowest person there so I don't injure myself.

Back on Saturday from 10-3 for anything specs related you could possibly need!

I'm going to pop this here so you all know.

We will be closed from August 30th to September 9th so I can swan off to Nice for a holiday!

It's a couple of weeks away yet and we have spaces for tests if you want one, I'm here to order contact lenses if you need them and we can still get specs made and ready before I go if you need/want something new!

Open Tuesday to Saturday, swing by!

I haven't posted for a while and this is a slightly low effort post to let you know I'll be closing at 3pm today (27/07) and I will be closed all day next Friday (01/08).

These are pretty though, so that'll soften the blow of me not being here for a day!

Things are starting to pick up a bit, if you're looking for a test, we're full next week but have spaces the following week, so give us a shout and get booked in! Get ahead in the queue!

I try not to ask for a lot from you lovely people that follow us on here, but I would love to get that review count into triple figures. And hopefully stay at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

I'm a bit scared to ask, tbh, as I really worry about losing that 5⭐ score, but if you've been to us and you haven't left a review, could you just take a minute and please add one?

Our Google rating is the main reason people choose Bramley Pope over other Opticians and the really wonderful things that have been said in the reviews are a big help on swaying people too.

On a more personal note, I read every one of them and it's genuinely heartwarming to see how much what we do is appreciated.

I'm quite fed up with seeing the words "This hack is a game changer" and would like to delete my Facebook account.

I keep it for this page.

Could I persuade you all to migrate to our Instagram page so I can get this element of Facebook to do one and just focus on that element of Meta Industries 9000? I post the exact same stuff over there and it's a bit less spammy!

I think I'll say that I'll be deleting this at the end of August?

The Open Day went very, very well. A massive thank you to everyone that turned up and to everyone that bought some new specs!

My other half, Vi, came up for the day to help out and Heather got some nice photo's of her in a new pair of prescription sunnies from Le Parc and modeling another of the incredible Mad In Italy range that we have exclusivity on in Bristol!

Again, huge thanks to everyone involved on the day, it went way better than I could have expected!
