Andi trains consistently alongside her husband, keeps and eye on her nutrition, shows up in the gym rain or shine — and still finds time for lawn bowls and respite care for local families with SEN children 🫶

This is what a strong, healthy, active retirement looks like.

Tomorrow, Tracy Gets Married! šŸ’ā¤ļø

We couldn’t be more excited for her as she heads off to Barbados to tie the knot, surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of sunshine. ā˜€ļø

But that’s not the only thing we’re celebrating...

Tracy has just smashed her way into the 100 Club! šŸŽ‰šŸ’Æ

She only joined us in December—a time when most people are slowing down—but Tracy jumped straight in, embraced the programme, and quickly became part of the BWPT community. In fact, she’s one of the fastest 100 Club inductees we’ve ever had!

Before joining, Tracy hadn’t exercised in years. She’d felt let down by big gyms and wasn’t sure where to turn…until her friend and BWPT legend, Sally, convinced her to give us a try.
ā€œThey’re not like other gyms,ā€ Sally said. ā€œIt’s personal training, and I love it. I think you will too.ā€

The rest is history. Now, Tracy’s stronger, fitter, always smiling, and ready to walk down that aisle feeling confident and amazing.

Meet Ali šŸ‘‹

When Ali first joined us, she had plenty of experience with exercise—but like so many busy mums, life (and three kids!) had taken over, and strength training had never really been part of the picture.

She knew big, crowded classes weren't the right fit and found traditional gyms intimidating. What she wanted was a place where she could feel supported, build real strength, and actually enjoy the process.

Fast forward to today, and Ali’s doing things she never thought she could—smashing out bench presses, lifting heavy weights, and feeling stronger and fitter than ever.

In her own words, the small group personal training sessions, the friendly faces, and the real attention to technique have made all the difference. And the best bit? The confidence she's gained from seeing her progress week after week.

Meet Martin – From Back Pain to BWPT All Black Strength šŸ‘‡

Before joining us, Martin had already achieved something huge—he’d lost a considerable amount of weight through sheer dedication and discipline. A semi-retired dad from Nailsea, he’d spent years in a demanding corporate job, travelling constantly and working long hours that left little time for himself.

But when the pandemic shifted things and he began working from home, something changed.

For the first time in a long time, Martin had the freedom to focus on his health—not just his weight, but his strength, fitness, and how he felt in his own body.

There was just one thing holding him back: his lower back. It had always been a source of pain and concern, and the idea of lifting weights felt risky and unfamiliar. But with the right guidance, support, and a bit of patience—Martin got to work.

Fast forward to now, and he’s one of the strongest members we have. Training up to five times a week, he’s built a level of strength and confidence that many people half his age would admire—and his back pain? Nearly gone.

Martin’s not just strong on the gym floor—he’s kind, encouraging, and the kind of person everyone’s glad to train with. Whether it’s a helping hand with the weights or a quiet word of support during a tough session, he’s always there for those around him.

We’re so proud to have Martin as part of the BWPT All Blacks and even prouder to see how far he’s come. He’s proof that it’s never too late to become the strongest version of yourself.

Meet Nicki – Stronger, Fitter, and One of Our Longest-Standing Members! šŸ’Ŗ

If you’ve ever trained with Nicki, you’ll know—she’s the life and soul of any session. A mum of two, a friend to everyone she meets, and one seriously strong woman, she’s been part of our gym family for over 8 years.

But she wasn’t always lifting heavy and brimming with confidence…

When Nicki first joined, she was nervous, unsure where to start, and had never touched a barbell before.

She knew strength training was good for her, but like so many women, she felt intimidated by the the weights room of a gym. So, she did what a lot of us do—she joined with a friend for support.

Fast forward to today, and you’ll find her smashing workouts, lifting weights she never thought possible, and proving that getting older doesn’t mean slowing down.

What makes Nicki special isn’t just her strength—it’s the way she lifts up everyone around her. She welcomes new faces, brings energy to every session, and makes training fun, even when it’s tough.

Meet Camille šŸ‘‹

Camille is a busy mum of two, juggling two jobs and a hectic schedule. ā€œLife is mentalā€ but she knew she needed to prioritise her health. šŸ‘‡

After having her second child, she realised she hadn’t done any meaningful exercise for a long time.

She had always loved being active, but weight training? That was new territory.

She had tried big gyms and outdoor workouts, but nothing quite stuck—until she found BWPT

Meet Jamie – Our First BWPT All Black! šŸ†

A huge congratulations to Jamie, who’s officially the first member of our BWPT All Blacks—a milestone reserved for those who’ve completed over 500 workouts with us.

But it wasn’t always barbells and assault bikes…

Before joining, Jamie had never lifted weights despite knowing the health benefits of resistance training - he wasn’t sure where to start or what to do. šŸ¤”

Fast forward to now, and he’s not only mastered it but has become one of our strongest and most consistent members.

What makes Jamie special we think; is the way he supports everyone around him. He’s always one of the first to welcome new members, offering encouragement and a calm, friendly presence in every session—while staying focused and driven when it’s time to get to work.

Together with his wife, Jill (who’s not far off joining the All Blacks herself), they’ve inspired their children to start exercising too. Now the whole family trains regularly, creating a much fitter, healthier household.

We’re incredibly proud to have Jamie as part of the BWPT family and couldn’t be happier that he’s the first to hit this massive achievement. Here’s to the next 500! šŸ’Ŗ

Meet Nicola šŸ‘‹

Nicole first got in touch just a few weeks before Christmas

ā€œI’m always busy, so now is as good a time as any!ā€

She jumped in to our 30 day kickstart, even over the festive period - soon becoming a member and the rest is history

Nic had tried to stay active, regularly running and following a fitness app…

But nothing had managed to stick long term . She didn’t feel strong and she wasn’t enjoying the exercise she was doing

Nic has thrown herself in to everything at BWPT and has been one of our fastest members to make it to the 100 club (in roughly 5 months)

She enjoys training with like minded people at her personal training sessions as well as the complimentary SWEAT sessions, she’s a popular member and everybody knows Nic

The flexibility of the booking system has allowed her to train when she wants, around her full time job and her commitments at home as a working mum.

ā€œI feel stronger and fitter all around, I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I have!ā€
