The Wills Hall Association keeps former residents of Wills Hall in contact with each other and with the Hall. The Association also supports the Warden and students of Wills Hall through events that we organize and provides donations for projects to enhance hall life and which will benefit future students for generations to come. Almost 72 years ago, during the RAG procession, Wills Hall students celebrated Jacqueline Cochran’s achievement as the first woman to break the sound barrier. By 1980, Cochran held more speed, altitude, and distance records than any pilot in history. 🛩️

Join us on Thursday 10th April for the WHA’s Birmingham Reception!

We will meet at Bacchus Bar Birmingham from 7:00pm onwards, with a reservation under Robert Vilain. For those who would like to eat, the bar offers a good selection of food, and we plan to order food around 7:45 pm.

We have been asked to share that Neel Gorasia, (JCR Treasurer 2004-05 and former WHA Committee member) passed away suddenly last Saturday. Details of his funeral are below and can also be live-streamed.

East of England alumni, have you seen the Cambridge Branch of Bristol Alumni dinner on Saturday 7 December? Get your tickets via the link below.

Join the Cambridge Branch of Bristol Alumni for our annual dinner on Saturday 7 December at Fitzwilliam College.

Mulled wine and mulled apple juice will be served from 7pm in the Upper Hall before we move to the dining room at 7:30pm for a 3 course Christmas dinner, with choice of dessert.

After dinner we will be entertained by David Adamson as he recounts his 'Memories of a Bristol Bursar' from his eleven years working for the University during the 1980s and 1990s.

Tickets are £58, including wine, which is the same price as last year. Tables of up to 8 can be reserved, if you would like to book as a group. Dress code is black tie/lounge suit.
