At CREATE Fertility, we are committed to addressing the disparities in maternal health outcomes for Black women. Our founder and Medical Director, Professor Geeta Nargund discussed the impact of the gender health gap and the outcomes of maternal care for Black women in an article published by the guardian. This Black Maternal Health Awareness Week, we take the time to acknowledge the progress necessary in fertility care and the broader health sector when treating black women.

Join us in congratulating one of our patients who has recently welcomed their little one into the world.

Eve was kind enough to share the story of her IVF journey with Create Fertility,
after 10 years of fertility struggles.

"I’m 43 now and have endometriosis, I was diagnosed at 21 years old so that was probably a massive contributing factor. I went to my doctor and we were told to go away and keep trying for another year or so."

Join us in sending a big congratulations to Hannah and her family as they welcome their little boy into the world.

Hannah shared her treatment experience with us in a lovely message:

" My husband and I had our first IVF transfer with our only embryo in March last year. Fast forward a year and I’m cuddling the most beautiful baby boy. I couldn’t be more grateful to the Cardiff team and the lady who did my transfer in Bristol (I think her name was Jodie and she was wonderful)."

" I honestly can’t thank you enough for the support. After years of trying and with this being our first IVF attempt, we never imagined we would have such a perfect little boy. I really feel like he defied the odds and is the most special little baby we could have wished for."

The event brings together medical professionals, health technologists, pharmaceutical leaders and entrepreneurs to share and discuss innovation, inspirational stories and progress in the medical sector.
