Last week, our brilliant CPHT Bristol students completed Module 8 — and what a fantastic weekend of learning, discussion, and practical development it was!
Here’s what we covered:
⭐ Performance Enhancement – We looked at how hypnotherapy can support clients in boosting their performance across a range of areas including sport, the arts, exams, and driving.
⭐ Understanding OCD – Students explored the complexities of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and learned effective, solution-focused strategies for working with clients who experience it.
⭐ Analytical Techniques – We took a deep dive into some of the early roots of therapy through Freud’s work and considered how analytical methods are still used by some therapists today.
⭐ Latest Research – We connected cutting-edge research in neuroscience and psychology with the practical work we do in clinic — giving clients greater understanding of their own recovery.
⭐ Case Study Reflections – With qualification drawing closer, students shared client case studies they’re proud of — an important opportunity to reflect on their progress and impact.
⭐ Learning from David Newton – We reviewed one of David Newton’s real-life case studies, offering deeper insight into clinical forecasting and structured recovery.
⭐ Practical Application – As always, students took part in hands-on sessions to practise, refine, and grow in confidence.
It was a powerful weekend, and our Bristol students continue to impress with their commitment, insight, and growing clinical skill.
Well done to you all - Module 9, here we come!
