Be Therapies - Terms & Conditions
When booking with Be Therapies, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions for Be Therapies
• I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). Being a full member of the AoR demonstrates that I have completed a quality, nationally recognised course in Reflexology and have support from the AoR.
• I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
• I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to ensure client safety.
• I will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice /professional indemnity requirements.
• I comply with the AoR Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures the practice is kept up to date.
• I am compliant with GDPR data protection, and you will be required to sign the privacy policy following your full consultation form at the beginning of your first appointment.
• As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with AOR status, I will provide you with the appropriate bespoke treatment and support.
• I offer other therapies in addition to reflexology. I provide these therapies to the same high standard expected by the AoR for reflexology. I also have insurance in place for all these additional therapies.
You may view my qualification certificates and insurance, please just ask. I am also certified, first aid trained.
• When making the appointment you agree to a consultation with me prior to the treatment and you will disclose any relevant medical or lifestyle information, this helps to ensure the therapy session is suitable. If you present with any condition or symptom which could be a contraindication, I reserve the right to postpone/cancel the appointment if needed.
• Have a Music License which allows me to stream music during therapy sessions.
Treatment costs, Deposit & Cancellation policy
• Full payment is required following a treatment. Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, card or valid gift voucher.
• A £15 deposit is requested to secure your booking – this will be taken off treatment total at payment or you can choose to carry it over, to secure next booking.
• I understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed, but would ask you to give at least 48 hours notice, if you need to do so. This will allow me the potential to re-book the appointment. I am self-employed, so if you cancel at short notice or miss your appointment I receive no income, whilst still incurring costs.
• The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or change your appointment within 24 hours, to cover expenses incurred.
• deposits will be withheld for any changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, and a new deposit will be requested.
• Less than 24 hours notice may result in a 100% charge of the treatment cost. This payment will need to be settled prior to any future bookings.
• Missed or cancelled appointment ‘on the day’, would be subject to full payment, I thank you for your understanding.
Vouchers
• Gift Vouchers can be purchased to the value of a certain treatment and will be valid at the bought price even if this treatment price increases or can be bought for a custom value. All vouchers have to be used by the date noted on the back, unless I agree otherwise.
• Gift vouchers are non refundable.
• Deposits will not be required when booking an appointment with a gift voucher, however, if any of the above happens, and the appointment is not attended, the relevant cost will be deducted from the value total of the gift voucher.

There is on street parking. I don’t have the facilities for you to wait inside before your appointment but there is a nice park in the road parallel and a local pub opposite. The local high-street Sandy Park Road, is a 10 min walk or 2 min drive away.
The Street Cottage, Alveston, BS35 3SX
There is on road parking. I don’t have the facilities for you to wait inside before your appointment but there are a couple of cafes nearby, or Thornbury High Street is a 10 minute drive away.
If you have mobility issues, any special needs or allergies, please do let me know before you arrive. There are stairs to the treatment room in both locations.
