A message from your new General Manager, Paul 🤩

Hi there,

I wanted to introduce myself — I’m Paul Middlewood, and I’m delighted to be joining as General Manager here at David Lloyd Bristol Westbury. It’s a fantastic Club, and I’m really looking forward to being part of the community.

I’d also like to thank Denis for everything he’s done here. He’s built a strong, welcoming Club that so many of you enjoy every day, and he’s taken great care to ensure a smooth handover so you can continue to get the most from your time here.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see me around the Club getting to know the team, the space, and—most importantly—how you like to use it. If you have a question, some feedback, or just fancy a chat, please do come and say hello.

My focus is simple: to make sure this Club is a place you genuinely love spending time in. Whether you’re here to train, switch off, or catch up in the Clubroom, it should feel welcoming, easy, and worth every visit.

Outside of work, I’m a father of three and enjoy spending time on the golf course or playing football—so I know how important it is that the Club works for both individuals and families alike.

If there’s anything you think we can do better, I’d really love to hear from you.
