Good Afternoon,
We would like to request that our services be put on your website for parents of autistic children to be aware that Charles Clinkard, The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, BS34 5GG have been working with the Northern Autisic Charity Daisy Chain, as we are the furthest store south of the UK they provided us with the training along with our other stores.
We have successfully trained all staff here at Cribbs Causeway and would like to offer the following specialist services to our Autistic customers:
*On our Website we have a video of the process so that the customer is made aware before entering the store to help minimise distress.
*We take appointments over the phone and in person and tailor the appointment to meet the childs needs.
These appointments can then take place before the store is officially open, giving the customer the opportunity to come in without the general public, without the music on and without the additional lighting if needed. This will also include providing a personal member of staff who will hopefully build a relationship with the customer and will be available for future visits should they be requested.
*We have been supplied with fidget toys, but welcome any comforts the customer may need to bring with them.
