Let’s talk… VISCERAL FAT
Far too often we all focus on what we look like on the outside and don’t give a second thought to how our bodies look on the inside.
The image attached is showing you 2 bodies, the one on the right with a healthy body fat % and the one on the left an unhealthy body fat %
The yellow looking stuff is what we call VISCERAL FAT, too much of this and there is cause for concern. The black bits you can see in the photo they are all your main Organs and as you can see having too much Visceral Fat, surrounds your organs, crushing down on them and stopping your Organs to function as they should. 😟
Have you ever heard of the term “Skinny Fat”?
We all have that friend who says I can eat what I want and never put any weight on. On the outside that may look true, but on the inside is where they can be doing all the damage.
By looking after your body with Healthy nutrition, living an active lifestyle, having a life balance of work rest and play can be a step closer to reducing the risk of Cardiovascular Disease, Dementia, Diabetes, Asthma, Breast/Colon Cancer - as all of these are linked to high levels of Visceral Fat.
Our body pretty much regenerates itself every 2 years, so choose wisely in what you are putting into your body each day so that it can regenerate better and better.
