Above are some results of non surgical periodontal treatment with our Dentist Nick. The dotted line shows the pockets depths of a patient with periodontal disease before treatment with Nick and the solid line shows the pockets depths after periodontal treatment with Nick. As you can see there is significant reduction in pocketing and bleeding, just 2 months after a single course of treatment.

Periodontal treatment focuses on treating gum disease (periodontal disease) and the tissues that support your teeth. It involves cleaning the gums, removing plaque, tartar, and bacteria, and helping the gums heal. The two main stages are:

1. **Non-surgical treatment**: This often involves a deep cleaning, called scaling and root planing, where plaque and tartar are removed from below the gumline to reduce infection.

2. **Surgical treatment**: If the disease is severe, surgery might be needed to remove damaged tissue or to restore lost bone.

The goal of treatment is to prevent further damage, keep your gums healthy, and preserve your teeth.
