WORD Day — World Young Rheumatic Diseases Day — helps bring visibility to the young people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions that are so often misunderstood. Managing these illnesses can mean regular blood work, imaging, specialist visits, and for many, ongoing injections for conditions like juvenile idiopathic arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It’s a lot to navigate, and it asks for a kind of strength that isn’t always seen. When those procedures feel heavy, Buzzy is there to lighten the load.
