Despite the rain, our spirits certainly weren’t dampened at this year’s Summer Party! Residents, families, and staff came together for a wonderful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great food.

We were treated to fantastic live performances – the ever-popular Chris Auburn, who’s always such a hit with our ladies, and the brilliant Frankie Johns, who closed the party with some wonderful tunes. 🎤💃

A huge thank you to all the staff who came in to support, and an extra special shout-out to Ash, who put together a delicious homemade buffet (yes – even the scotch eggs!). 🥚👏

It truly was a day to remember – rain and all.

It’s been a truly special week here at Penhill.

We’ve loved celebrating with our wonderful residents – including one very special birthday 🥳 filled with joy and laughter. Meanwhile, another of our lovely ladies was treated to her very own “glam squad” as our team came together to pamper and prepare her for a cherished family wedding 💅💖👒.

Our creative spirits have also been shining, with residents making beautiful bejewelled fans to brighten up the garden.

It’s been a week full of smiles and treasured moments – here’s to many more happy days together!

Join us for an afternoon of fun, laughter, live entertainment, and a delicious buffet. It's always a lovely chance to come together and celebrate the season with our residents, families, friends, and supporters.

This morning, our residents have been up on their feet enjoying some gentle exercise and a bit of dancing! 🧘‍♀️🎶 From stretches to shimmies, the smiles were contagious and the energy was amazing.

Staying active is such an important part of wellbeing—and we always make sure to have a little fun while we’re at it! 💪❤️

We’re so pleased to have restarted our much-loved Knit 'n' Natter group this week — a perfect mix of creativity, conversation, and community.

Our lovely Flo made sure everyone was well looked after with delicious refreshments, thoughtfully brought in by one of our wonderful residents. 💐🍰

It was a heart-warming afternoon filled with laughter, shared stories, and of course, a few dropped stitches! 🧶❤️

Here’s to many more cosy weekends spent together — everyone welcome, just bring your smile (and maybe a few knitting needles)! 😊

The sun has been shining and the residents at Penhill have been making the most of it! We've had a lovely time out in the garden — planting, tidying, and soaking up some well-deserved sunshine. 💐🧤

To top it all off, everyone rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen and made some delicious rocky road cupcakes as a treat for a job well done. 🍫🧁

A perfect day of fresh air, teamwork, and sweet rewards! ❤️

🎉 What a fantastic time we had last week celebrating VE Day in Penhill! 🇬🇧
It was wonderful to see residents and friends come together to mark the occasion with such joy and community spirit.

A huge thank you to Ash for putting on a delicious and traditional homemade afternoon tea – it was absolutely spot on! And hats off to Nicola for getting everyone up on their feet singing and dancing to those golden oldies – what a great atmosphere! 💃🎶

What a fantastic Easter weekend we had here at Penhill! From getting creative with seasonal crafts to dancing the day away at our fabulous Easter party, big thanks to the staff who made it so memorable.

A huge heartfelt thank you goes out to our wonderful friends Steve & Kelly Kellaway, who so generously donated their time to host a brilliant disco for everyone. Your kindness lit up the room and brought so much joy to our residents — we truly can't thank you enough! 💃🕺

Our residents have been busy crafting the most stunning floral artwork—using nothing but tissue paper! 🎨🌷 What started as simple sheets of tissue has blossomed into vibrant, delicate, and truly effective floral masterpieces. 🌼💖

Seeing these flowers come to life has brought smiles, laughter, and a shared sense of achievement. 🌺😊

A creative and musical day at Penhill! 🎨🎶 Our residents had a fantastic morning crafting beautiful stained-glass window designs and intricate origami creations. This afternoon, we were treated to a stunning piano recital by the wonderful Jane Glasson, filling our home with beautiful melodies. A huge thank you to Jane for sharing her talent with us! 👏👏👏

🌟 What a fantastic day we've had! 🌟

Our residents were absolutely thrilled by the majestic birds of prey from Wings of Freedom 🦅. A huge thank you to Colin for his fascinating and informative talk – it was truly captivating!

To top it all off, the day ended on a high note with the beautiful voices of the Shirehampton Primary School Children's Choir 🎶. Their performance was heartwarming and brought smiles all around.

A big thank you to everyone who made today so special! 💛
