📣Please see our Christmas Opening Hours. Other than the bank holidays, we are open our usual hours.

If you need prescriptions, please request before Wednesday 18th December to ensure you have them before Christmas.

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas🎄

‼️Important notice‼️

Throughout December and the Christmas period, we operate on a slightly different appointment structure. All of our routine appointments for December are now booked, and over the Christmas period, we hold appointments back for emergency or urgent matters.

Please be aware that our Care Navigators will try their very best to signpost you to the most appropriate service, whether that be a pharmacy, or our PCN staff (physiotherapist, mental health practitioner, in-house pharmacists). They may not always be able to give you the appointment that you are asking for, but we ask that you respect our team and appreciate that they are doing their best.

Pharmacies are now able to provide some prescription medicine for seven common conditions, if needed, without the need to see a GP or prescription. Our Care Navigators may refer you to a Pharmacy for any of the seven conditions below:
Sinusitis (for those aged 12 years and over)
Sore throat (for those aged 5 years and over)
Earache (for those aged between 1 and 17 years old)
Infected insect bite (for those aged 1 year and over)
Impetigo (for those aged 1 year and over)
Shingles (for those aged over 18 years old)
Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) (for women aged 16-64)

If you are needing a follow up appointment or it is a routine matter, we advise that you contact us in the New Year, or be aware that the appointment you are offered will be in 2025.

If you feel that your symptoms change or worsen, please do not hesitate to contact us and our Care Navigators will try and arrange a sooner appointment.

As with previous years, we are closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day (Wednesday 25th December and Thursday 26th December) and New Years Day (Wednesday 1st January 2024). Other than these days, we will be operating as normal so please continue to contact us for urgent matters.

We thank all of our patients for their understanding, and we hope everyone enjoys the Festive period!🎄

20 YEARS OF CHANGING THE FACE OF MEN'S HEALTH

In 2003, a movement was started for men's health. A movement that has since funded over 1,320 men's health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

They've taken on three of the biggest health issues affecting men: mental health and su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. As a result, men are living healthier, longer lives.

This movement started with 30 Mo Bros. Now, it claims a headcount of over 6 million. And they're not done yet.

World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in over 160 countries. It is marked every year on 14 November, the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922.

WDD was created in 1991 by International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization and became an official United Nations Day in 2006 with the passage of United Nations Resolution 61/225.
