Ian Hughes Counselling

Ian Hughes Counselling I offer a warm, safe, person-centred relationship that works from a place of understanding.

A conscientious and professional counsellor with 6 years’ experience, including 4 years’ experience working for the Swan Project, based in Montpellier (Bristol), helping individuals with drug and/or alcohol addiction. I have counselled individuals with a wide range of psychological and emotional issues which have attributed to their addiction. The work we do at Swan is on a voluntary basis and I began working there as a placement during my counselling diploma and have continued to work there since, having now achieved over 300 practice hours. I also worked part time for Careuk as a health advisor as part of the NHS 111 service using many of the skills to improve client care and experience.
