Summer 2025 Garden Party !!

Thank you for coming to our Edgemont Summer Garden party yesterday !

We are so grateful to have a great community, family,friends, residents and staff !

A fantastic day was had by all and the weather was perfect 🙂

Weston super mare !☀️🏖️🍦

What a lovely day for a trip to the beach! Some of our resident enjoyed a day at the sea side today and had lots of fun on the pier, enjoyed fish and chips at Tiffany’s and finished with a yummy ice cream ! ❤️🙂

We had a lovely trip to Noah Ark Zoo farm today who were very accommodating to us due to the hot weather and allowed us to bring our visit time earlier, kingswood transport were also very kind and helpful and was able to also ensure they could arrive earlier to take us. It was very hot but we were very lucky to find lots of shade in areas and even though we only had a couple of hours due to the heat we had so much fun ! We drank lots of water, smothered ourselves in suncream multiple times and modelled the new bucket hats and of course .. enjoyed a nice ice cream with the animals ! 🐅🦓🐘❤️

🍦☀️🎡 SATURDAY 16th AUGUST 1pm-4pm

This year we are hosting a summer garden party and we would like to invite you to join us !!

We are hoping the lovely weather continues.

We will be hosting our own ice cream stand where you can build your own sundae and all we ask is if you could provide a donation towards our activity funds.

Lots of games to be played from hook a duck, knock a tin and our residents favourite - darts !

We will be hosting a tombola with lots of fun things up for grabs .. fonthil garden centre have kindly donated us a voucher and the local bun box have kindly donated us a voucher which is all up for a chance to be won with lots of other prizes !!🏆

Yesterday we had the lovely Melissa come with her furry and not so furry friends ! Animal therapy is one of our residents favourite sessions ❤️

Registered Manager Claire and Deputy Manager Shannon would like to thank all the staff for their continued hard work, especially over the last 12 months where everyone has worked together as a team to make huge improvements to our home.

The directors and Management are proud to manage such hard working staff who provide nothing but love and support to our wonderful residents.
