What a morning!

We’re so proud to share the results from our Big Slimming World Clothes Throw 2026 💜

The members of South Bristol groups including our Saturday 9:30am session have donated a total of 172 bags of clothes after slimming out of them and rallying around collections, meaning we’ve beaten last year’s total and smashed our goal!

It’s always such a privilege to hold this event at our venue, being the last group of the Slimming World Week 🥰

Each bag raises around £25 (plus 25% Gift Aid), bringing us to an incredible total of over £4,300 for Cancer Research UK 🙌

This is what it’s all about … supporting each other, making positive changes, and giving back at the same time.

Thank you to every single person who donated – you’ve made such a difference 🫶

Welcome to our South Bristol groups page 💛

This page is managed by Sarah and Keesa (Mum & Daughter) and we’ll be using it to share updates, group information and details of our local weight loss support sessions for the Whitchurch, Hengrove, Withywood and Bishopsworth areas.

We’re really proud of the communities we’ve built and are excited to continue supporting members (exiting, returning and new) on their journey’s in a positive, welcoming space.

Wether you’ve been part of our groups before, groups that are no longer running locally or your day / time / area preference has changed you’re still very welcome here. If you’re new, we’d love to meet you too.

Big moment ❤️

I’m currently at Slimming World Head Office in Derbyshire and have been privileged enough to get a little behind the scenes peek in the studio before our very first live YouTube event 🎥

This first one is all about protein - why it’s such a hot topic right now, the real science behind it (no myths or confusion here!) and why it plays such an important role in our Food Optimising plan.

You’ll be able to get involved with a live chat and polls to really shape the conversation as it happens.

Feeling proud to be part of something that keeps evolving to support our members in the best way possible. Can’t wait for everyone to experience it 🥰

This is your reminder that progress isn’t always about pushing forward.

I’ve lost 2 stone and kept it off for 3 months and I’m so proud of that ♥️

This year I’ve pressed pause on losing more and focused on maintaining my weight loss with Slimming World’s Slim for Life plan.

Being a mum of two, being self-employed and everything in between has meant my capacity was quite full so my priority has been protecting what I’ve achieved, not pushing for more.

And that isn’t failure, it’s real life.

I’ve still had healthy habits in place, still made healthy choices, just with that little more flexibility that our maintenance plan brings.

These are the foundations that will help contribute to that long term success, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and know that I’ll continue to move forward again with our weight loss plan when I decide the time is right ✨
