A sensory, sound gift - Sunday 24th, 7pm - Join us for an intimate and unmissable, FREE performance by sound artist, composer and nature-beatboxer . The focus of this 45 minute concert is on contemplation, deep listening and relaxation explored through improvised ambient music created by the voice, electronics and live bio data from plants.

Inspiration includes Indian ragas, ambient, drone, soundscapes, nature, birdsong, dhrupad, jazz and minimalism.

Jason Singh is a sound artist, nature beatboxer, producer, DJ, facilitator and performer.

His work has been called “beautiful, strange, calming music” by celebrated writer Robert Macfarlane and is also referred to as “the human sampler” by Cerys Matthews (BBC6 Music).

Singh’s collaborations and commissions include a diverse range of organisations and artists including Sir David Attenborough, George Ezra, BBC, V&A Museum, Kew Gardens, Chester Zoo, BFI, Dartington Trust, Celtic Connections, RNLI, Music for Youth, National Trust, Tate Britain, Yazz Ahmed, Shabaka Hutchings, Sarathy Korwar, Nitin Sawhney, Talvin Singh, Rokia Traore to name but a few.

Shakti Goddess Day Retreat

A Dartmoor Self-Care Day Retreat to nourish and restore your inner Goddess, and ignite and re-wild your summer Shakti vibes!

The day will be a weaving of sacred self-care, cacao ceremony, womb yoga, gong sound healing and nourishing food and drink.

The morning will begin with a sharing circle, cacao ceremony and self-care blessing ritual, followed by gentle womb yoga and yoga nidra (guided visualisation).

Lunch will be a nourishing plant based feast made with love by Dartmoor chef Yuki Vevers. After lunch we will bathe us in a relaxing and restorative sound bath and then Debs will close our sharing circle as we receive the blessings of our botanical self-care creations!

At lunch we can wander through the grounds of Southcombe Barn, taking in the abundant bounty of Summer on Dartmoor.

This will be an intimate event with very limited numbers so we recommend you book soon. If you are coming from further afield we can suggest some lovely local accommodation.
