We're really looking forward to Saturday night at the Long Ashton Community Centre and hope you are too.
Ever wondered why we call our sound gear the Buttery Soundsystem? No....? Well anyway, Bishopsound, the company that makes the main speakers, describe them as having a very warm and buttery tone. Now we're not entirely sure what they're banging on about, but they do sound really great, especially coupled with a pair of sub woofers to add some serious bottom end.
So this Saturday at the LA Club Night you can expect to hear some seriously full phat buttery sounds!

Yo yo yo, just over a week to go until the next LA Club Night!
Saturday the 13th, from 8 till 12.
£8 on the door, top value bar, proceeds going to Long Ashton Community Centre.
Come and dance to some quality house music from the LA DJs, with some groovy disco to get you in the mood, all safe in the knowledge that you'll be raving for the community!
A quality sound system, with more lights than you could shake a stick at, all without stepping outside the village.
Come on, we're spoiling you!!!

Just over 3 weeks to go until the next LA Club Night!!!
It's going to be quality house music all night long (with plenty of classics) all pumped out of our legendary buttery soundsystem!
We already have a decent lighting rig and the Community Centre have only gone and installed a load of their own as well. You can never have too many flashy lights!!
Only £8 entry on the door and a very reasonably priced bar.
Let's make this a night to mostly remember!!

Huge excitement as Long Ashton Disco Night returns
Raving for the community!
Earlier this year Long Ashton Community Centre was home to a bangin’ disco where two of LA’s legendary DJs played a perfect mix of disco and dance to raise money for the centre.
DJ Lavender kicked off his career with a few bits of vinyl and a drum machine. Now, he whips up the dance floor with his infectious tunes and throws some sweet moves too! DJ Pedro, aka pot-of-tea Pete, has played bubblin’ gigs across London for 19 years but says his most loved sessions were laying down the soul and jazz during the Bristol Harbour Festival on sunny afternoons.
Both DJs were stoked to bring their top sets to Long Ashton and the Community Centre was transformed into the ultimate disco dance hall with a massive cache of lights, glittering mirror ball, punchinella and a licensed bar.
The dance floor was buzzing from start to finish. “Like medicine! Pure joy!” declared an excited dancer as people whooped and jumped around. Long Ashton resident Steven Dodds exclaimed "Absolutely brilliant. Triumph!", while Amanda Halford said "A Friday night shindig was just what the village needed. Who knew there were so many fabulous movers among us?!"
Organiser Ruth McAllister said "Loads of people asked for another disco because it was such a brilliant night. The next disco will be stonking too!”
With all profits from the disco nights being donated to the centre, DJ Ben says “people are raving for the community”. Sarah Leong, manager of the Community Centre said, “We are really glad the event was a great success. The donation of £150 will go towards our Outdoor Gym on Peel Park fund.”
The disco on Friday 13 September promises to be even mightier than the last, so get there early before capacity is reached. Eight til late. £7 entry. Over 18s only. Licensed bar.
