Do you suffer with dry eye or blepharitis? If you do then this could be for you!
IPL Treatment- what is that and what that does the treatment look like?
IPL stands for intense pulsed light treatment. It’s a non-invasive procedure used to help improve dry eye. This is done by pulses of light that heat the meibomian glands therefore making it easier to express.

If you were listing to the radio over lunch time today you might have heard Medical Optometrist Peter Turner answering a BBC Radio Bristol listeners question on John Darvall’s show - does a gold ring clear a stye. In short - to avoid infection we highly recommend a warm gel bag or freshly warmed flannel, stay hydrated rest as we usually get a stye when we’re a little under the weather. Our Bristol Dry Eye Clinics here for any specific dry eye or blepharitis concerns do get in touch and we’ll see how we can help.

🎄DONATIONS NEEDED🎄
We are doing a collection for the baby bank appeal in Fishponds- they work with organisations in contact with vulnerable families to make sure that they are provided with items to ensure their babies basic needs are met. Any donations of the following would be very appreciated. All contributions need to be with either of our practices by 12th December.
The requirements include:

Baby toiletries-
• Baby wipes
• Nappy sacks
• Nappy cream
• Baby wash/ bubble bath
• Baby shampoo
• Cotton wool
• Flannel or Sponge
• Baby toothbrush/ toothpaste

Mums toiletries-
• Maternity pads
• Breast pads
• Shampoo / Conditioner
• Shower gel
• Bar of soap
• Toothbrush / Toothpaste
