Pure comedy genius!

👀 “These Olympic sports demonstrations are… interesting”.
-I’m with him on this… I’m not sure if I should have been impressed or concerned!?

👀 “Twerking ON your teammate… I like your style!”
-I can confirm it was a sight to behold!

👀 “WTF… is she actually going to wear that cat mask ALL session?!”
-FYI I loved the cat mask!

👀 “Why am I now sharing my ceiling with other sticky creatures!? RUDE!”
-Soz, it’s the latest hyperfixation!

Every good community has its own judgey AF ceiling supervisor, & Sticky Man is STILL hanging on in there! 😆

He’s seen allllll the crazy cat moves (there was some hissing!), the chaos, & the moments you definitely didn’t want him to see! 😜

Sticky Man: always watching, always judging, never missing a thing.
And yes… he’s secretly loving the twerking energy (& I think I heard him meow!)

Not because you need hyping up.
Not because you’re fragile.
But because sometimes you forget who YOU are.

You don’t need fixing.
You don’t need reinventing.
You just need to stop doubting yourself long enough to actually go for it!

The belief comes first.
The evidence follows.
And in case it’s slipped your mind… you’re already the dog’s bo****ks. Act accordingly. 💁‍♀️

Chelsea is such an inspiration, both as an awesome human, & in her career literally saving lives. I feel totally honoured to be able to share a little of her story so far.

When Chelsea first found Swift Strength, she was struggling… 😞

She was new to the area, had a new baby, a toddler, & NO time for herself.

Her body ached, she was the heaviest she’d ever been, & she hated how she looked.
She was feeling pretty isolated most of the time. ☹️

Luckily, our world's beautifully collided (extra lucky for me as she bakes the most amazing bread which I regularly get to try!). 😝

…Almost 2 years later & the impact of her “What the hell have I got to lose?” mindset is continuing to make a positive difference to her life, health & happiness!

Oh how things have changed! 🥳 She’s learnt it doesn’t have to be all or nothing & has found something she can, does & WANTS to stick at. Finally she realises she CAN exercise!

Chelsea now…
⚡Moves most days
⚡Understands the importance of prioritising & showing up for herself.
⚡Can keep up with her kids.
⚡Manages an active, demanding job,
⚡Has support from new friends
⚡Significantly reduced her pain without medication 😮

But the biggest change & the one that makes me smile the most…She doesn’t feel alone anymore.

The Swift community has become her safe space - friends, support, encouragement, always lifting each other up.

Her advice for anyone thinking about joining Swift?

“What have you got to lose… warning, you may well just keep coming back for more.” 😉

Chelsea communicates beautifully that Swift isn’t just a room full of gym stuff… It means something.

It’s connection, confidence, support… & a space that genuinely changes lives!
In the wise words of Chelsea… Swift = “a game changer!” 💛

Mothers day is a strange day for me. It brings up a mixture of emotions…I may not have had the opportunity, or privilege...

Mothers day is a strange day for me.
It brings up a mixture of emotions…

I may not have had the opportunity, or privilege to bring a tiny human into the world & become a mother.

…But I recognise more & more that I’ve taken on a mother-like role within the Swift Community. 💛

To me a mother is someone you feel safe with.
-Someone who nurtures, supports, teaches, loves & cares deeply.
-Someone who wants you to thrive & feel happy.
-Someone you can depend on & acts as a steady emotional anchor in your life.

I hope these qualities (minus the swearing 🤭) are demonstrated & show up in the way I care for others. 💛

… & I hope the fur babies feel this too. They deserve the same love & kindness.

Sending a little extra love to those finding it difficult today.

“That was tough… but I’m glad I did it.”

Before Swift, she was struggling to find the motivation to do anything. ☹️

Physically drained. Mentally exhausted. Everything felt like effort.
…Can YOU relate? 👀

So we didn’t throw workout after workout at her & hope for the best…
Instead we:
✔ Built a routine that reduces resistance (no more constant inner battles)
✔ Found her a supportive team that motivates & inspires
✔ Created a space where she can switch off from life & refill her cup (all cups are refillable!)

Finally she’s found her tribe!

Now she’s feeling stronger. More capable. Included. Proud of what she can do AND what she can overcome.

That’s a big WHOOP WHOOP from me! 🙌

Because yes, it might feel tough walking in.

But when you’ve made a commitment to yourself (& your team’s expecting you 😉), it’s a whole lot easier to show up.

And that feeling afterwards is ALWAYS WORTH IT! 💛

Sunday’s Swift Stomp was gloriously muddy in the best possible way!

Boots were splashing, puddles were irresistible, & there were a couple of wagging tails joining in the adventure too! 🐾

Among the mud, trees & chats we spotted those lovely little hints that spring is on its way with new shoots, birdsong & that fresh woodland feeling!

Just the kind of afternoon that reminds us how good it is to get outside together!! 🌱

Mind out of the gutter… it doesn’t mean what you think it means. 😉

The other week in a session, this little observation came up, & it made me chuckle!

The reality.. We were talking about some new barbell collars!

It’s evident that some equipment (& some bodies!) just need a bit more attention, patience, & the right moves to loosen up & feel good again.

A little wiggle & some focused care can make a world of difference… even for the stiffest of us. 😉

Swift was never meant to be “just another group.”

It was created to be a space with energy, laughter, encouragement & yes… the occasional nudge out of your comfort zone. 🙃

Watching you step into new spaces, back yourself, & then thrive is exactly why Swift exists.

The gratitude, the support, the showing up for each other… that’s the magic.
Not me. YOU LOT!

So proud of every single one of you who keeps pushing past the “shall I just stay home?” voice.
