It really feels like spring is here today at Monica Wills House retirement village 🌺🏵.

One week on we have lots of 🌱 seedlings growing in our Activity Rooms and some fabulous plants out on the rooftop garden plots.

This week we were humbled by our collection here at Monica Wills House, when we delivered an incredible 75kg of food and grocery items to BS3 Community Foodbank Outlet 🛒🛒🛒, our local foodbank. We are so grateful to everyone who made such generous donations, thank you.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Happy St. George's Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Residents, friends and staff gathered this afternoon for a wonderful Afternoon Tea event, with sandwiches, scone and cakes. ☕️

We especially enjoyed the live music from Terry Cole 🎶, you were great fun and encouraged so many to sing and dance along too.

Thank you to all who contributed and made it such a great afternoon.

Earlier this week residents and staff tried something new and planted seeds to mark .

It was a joint enterprise, with lots of fun and brilliant team work. We are hoping to enjoy some new edible herbs and 🌻 sunflowers in our community this summer too.

Thank you to all our residents and staff who contributed in the lead up to and over our Easter weekend here at Monica Wills House retirement village . We had Easter crafts, art, prayers and poems, plus even a special Easter egg hunt yesterday.

Thank you to the students and staff of Oasis Academy Marksbury Road choir, who treated us to a beautiful and cheery selection of songs in our Spring Concert and Social this morning. There was even a note to ABBA! 🎶

Your enthusiam is infectious and everyone enjoyed a chat over refreshments and cookies afterwards. Thank you for taking the time to visit us before your holidays and wish you a wonderful Easter. 🐣
