Whiteladies Health Centre

Whiteladies Health Centre GP surgery in Clifton, Bristol. Please do not send medical queries to this account. We are located just off the Whiteladies Road in Clifton, Bristol.

We offer an open-access system in the morning from 8 to 10.30 and booked appointments in the afternoon. If you are already a registered patient you can see a doctor without phoning or making an appointment in the morning or you can book an appointment by calling 0117 9150287. You can also book appointments online, but you will need to register with EMI's Access first, (just ask for details at Reception)

Although a large practice, we aim to provide a personal service with continuity of care, and encourage patients to see the same doctor whenever possible. We have a well-equipped treatment room and, apart from traditional General Practice, provide a wide range of health-related services. In a recent national patient survey we appeared in the highest centile for overall patient satisfaction. All are welcome and good health to all!

There has been an increase in cases of invasive Group A Strep (or Strep A) across the UK. Although cases like this are uncommon, we understand that parents and carers are concerned.
The symptoms include a sore throat, headache, fever and a pinkish or red body rash with a sandpapery feel.
If you suspect your child has Strep A, please consider some of the options available on BNSSG Integrated Care Board’s website:

Group A streptococcus (GAS) is a common bacteria. Lots of us carry it in our throats and on our skin and it doesn’t always result in illness. However, GAS does cause a number of infections, some mild and some more serious.

Our Covid vaccination clinics are running smoothly. We wouldn't be able to achieve these great results without the help of our volunteers, vaccinators, admin staff and everyone else involved.

Some of our staff are working so hard, that they are even busy on their birthdays! 🎉💖

Whiteladies Health Centre, in collaboration with Pembroke Road Surgery, The Family Practice Western College and University of Bristol Students' Health Service, has now offered the Covid vaccine to 100% of our high risk Group 1 to 4 patients.

Our Primary Care Network (PCN) has already delivered 6120 vaccinations. This would not have been possible without the help of our fantastic surgery teams, volunteers, Clifton College, Bristol City Council and Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire CCG

Our reception teams are working flat out to make this happen so please be considerate when talking to them. Thank you all for going above and beyond during this challenging time.

We will contact those in the next clinical groups when we have available appointments.
