📢 New device developed and tested in becomes the first new assisted birth device to reach clinical practice since the 1950s.

Lead by hard work from clinicians at PROMPT Maternity Foundation, the University of Bristol, and the University of the West of England, the OdonAssist was developed and tested using Limbs & Things' training models before heading to trials at Southmead Hospital.

After being approved for hospital use across Europe, it has helped safely deliver over 300 babies.

An update on our recent new factory opening🚚

Following our earlier announcement, we’re pleased to share that we are now settling into the new facility and are already seeing the benefits of the additional space.

Our Operations Director, Ray, talking about the move, said:
"We managed the opening of the new building over two weekends and I am extremely pleased with the collective effort from our Engineers for the planning and ex*****on of the move and our Production Team for completing the machinery sign-off smoothly. The new building has, among other benefits, provided space for a new conveyor system for effective workflow which is expected to boost throughput by optimizing our cycle times within production."

We often get asked how we keep our medical knowledge fresh, especially as we make training models across a range of specialities. Part of the answer is working with our network of experts to keep our knowledge & techniques up-to-date!

Just last week our US Account Managers had the privilege of working with AT Still University to practice reading ultrasound and improving their joint injection & aspiration skills using our own simulation models!

Everyone left the training session feeling competent in their abilites and confident they could support our customers in finding the right training tools for them.
