🔬 It’s Australian Science Week! A time to spark curiosity and celebrate science in all its forms.

We're using this week as an opportunity to spotlight our Australia Sales Manager, Melinda Riall, who joined Limbs & Things after 14 years as a Nurse.

"From the age of five, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. My mum was a Mothercraft Nurse and my two aunts were Nurses, so I had strong women to look up to. I used to carry a miniature first aid kit with me, ready to clean up any scratches.

At 18, I trained at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, which had 1,200 beds. I learned on the job, without the simulation manikins we have today, and built lifelong friendships while caring for patients through both tough and rewarding moments. I had the opportunity to mentor young nurses and I always loved watching them grow into excellent practitioners. It was something I was, and still am, very proud of"
