This is an exciting opportunity for Art Refuge to collaborate with a very experienced foster carer and trainer to deliver a six week pilot for other foster carers and key workers of young asylum seekers, Please share among your Bristol networks!

BRISTOL: FREE SIX WEEK ONLINE PILOT GROUP FOR FOSTER CARERS AND KEY WORKERS

Fridays 11-12
July 10, 17, 24, 31 and August 7 and 14

These interactive and visually based workshops aim to uphold wellbeing and strengthen connections in the network around Bristol’s young refugee and asylum-seeking population. Sessions will be designed and facilitated by Sarah Robinson from Art Refuge in collaboration with Alison Clarkson Webb (Intercultural Trainer and Foster Carer of unaccompanied refugee children).

Sessions will be semi-structured through a series of simple themes that will be used in a playful visual exchange using everyday household objects and basic art materials. Through the participants’ shared on and off-line experiences, we hope to all gain deeper insight into the faith, culture, adolescence and psychological lives of young refugees.
