This one deserves a spot on the grid 👇

Craig and took on a HYROX simulation today at 💥

Ian has been wanting to try HYROX for a while, so this was his moment. And he absolutely delivered 👊

Coming in at 1 hour 10 minutes for his first go… seriously impressive. And the best part? There’s still more in there ⏱️

As you all know, Craig has about 6 lungs and this type of workout is right up his street… but today wasn’t about that. He held back, matched Ian stride for stride and showed exactly what personal training his clients is about — support, encouragement and knowing when to push and when to steady.

Ian went in nervous, not wanting to let his training partner down, but this was always about him… digging deep, pushing through the tough moments and proving what he’s capable of ☀️

That’s what it’s all about 👌

Big shoutout to at Trojan Fitness for putting these events on, always supporting and creating opportunities for people to step up 🙌

So… will this be the push Ian needed to take on an official HYROX? 👀

If you’ve been sitting on the fence about HYROX, this is your sign. With the right structure, support and someone in your corner, you’re capable of more than you think 💯

Some challenges don’t just push your body… they stay with your soul ✨

Kerry’s 3rd of 12 self care challenges took them to Thailand 🇹🇭 climbing 1,260 steps to the incredible Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi.

For Kerry and Craig, it was something they could do.
But this one wasn’t about them.

It was about encouraging, supporting and lifting their youngest daughter through every tough step, every “I can’t do this” moment… and watching her prove to herself that she absolutely could 💛

And honestly? That’s what made it so special.

This wasn’t just a hike. It was doing something completely new, in a different country, surrounded by wild monkeys 🙊 stray dogs 🐕 and the most breathtaking views waiting at the top ⛰️🛕☀️

But more than that… it was sharing it as a family and feeling so proud watching Lacey push through and make it all the way up 💛

And standing at the top, taking it all in. The temple 🛕 the Buddha, the views ⛰️ it reminded Kerry exactly why she started this self care challenge in the first place.

To live more. To feel more. To experience more.

Sometimes self care looks like slowing down. Being present. Showing up for the people you love ❤️

This one will stay with Kerry for a long time.

Has anyone else done this hike or something similar with their kids? We’d love to hear your experiences 👇

Exercise has always been a part of Craig’s routine but like all of us, as he’s getting older, it’s not always easy.

The difference? He adapts. He adjusts. He keeps showing up 👌

Because training isn’t just about changing your body… it’s about maintaining your health, your strength and your mindset for life.

Craig leads from the front, proving that consistency and adaptability will always beat perfection.

It’s your mindset.
Your energy.
Your confidence.
Your habits.
Your life.

The hardest part is always that first step … walking through the door, sending the message, saying “I’m ready.”

If you’ve been thinking about starting, or getting back into it, this is your sign.

No matter your age, ability, or where you’re at right now, we’ll meet you there and build from it 🤝

Message me if you want help taking that first step 💬

🌿 Kerry’s second self-care challenge of the year 🌿

(Slightly late… this was her February challenge, just squeezed in at the end of March 😅)

You may remember Kerry set herself a goal of trying one new self-care experience each month and this one was something completely different… a sunset sound bath in the mountains 🏔️

Before she went, she was honest…. not knowing really what to expect. Part of her was excited, but another part felt restless and unsure if she’d be able to properly switch off. Slowing down doesn’t always come naturally to Kerry.

Everyone led down on mats surrounded by nature, with the most incredible mountain backdrop as the sun started to set. Kerry could feel the warmth from the ground through her back, which somehow made it even easier to relax and switch off.

The practitioner began playing crystal singing bowls and the sound just filled the space. It wasn’t just something you heard, you could feel it. The vibrations seemed to move through your body.

At first, Kerry’s mind was busy (as usual), thinking about everything she ‘should’ be doing. But gradually, the sound pulled her into a calmer state. Kerry’s breathing slowed, her body softened and she felt this deep sense of stillness.

Kerry was drifting off 😴 at one point… until the guy next to her started snoring 😂 which definitely brought her back to reality!

Afterwards, Kerry felt lighter and clearer. Not in a dramatic, life-changing way, but in a subtle, grounded way….. like she’d given her nervous system a proper reset.

What Kerry took from it is this:

Sometimes self-care isn’t about doing more. It’s about allowing yourself to stop 👌

Would you try something like this? Or have you done a sound bath before?

We’d love to hear your experience 💭

💚 Strength isn’t silence 💚

This is what real strength looks like 💪

Snowy is an old football friend of mine, a dad and someone who has been through a lot. Life knocked him sideways …. relationship breakdowns, dark periods, unhealthy coping mechanisms and instead of staying stuck, he chose to rebuild 👏

He shows up. He puts the work in. He keeps going, even when it’s hard. And I couldn’t be prouder of the man Snowy is becoming 🙌

Training isn’t just about muscles or fitness. It’s a lifeline for many people. A place to breathe, to reset, to feel capable again. What makes this even more special is that Snowy trains alongside his daughter, rebuilding his health while strengthening their bond 🩷

Men’s mental health still isn’t talked about enough. Too many men feel they have to stay quiet and carry everything alone 😔 But strength isn’t silence. Strength is showing up, asking for help and choosing better, one day at a time.

I’m genuinely proud of this man. And if anyone reading this is struggling or feels like they don’t know where to start, my door is always open. For training, for talking, going for a walk and/or coffee or simply for taking that first step 🪜

Keep going. Keep breathing. Keep choosing yourself.

Check in on your family relatives, your mates, especially the strong ones. Talking saves lives 🗣️

✨ January Self-Care: Kerry’s Challenge ✨

This year, instead of New Year’s resolutions, Kerry has set herself a self-care challenge. To try something new once a month.

She’s very good at preaching self-care… and also very good at giving everything to everyone else through her work and personal life, while often putting herself last. From the outside, it can look like she’s always looking after herself, the gym, the walks, staying active. But real self-care goes much deeper than that.

The last two years, her challenge was finally facing what she already knew: she was struggling with perimenopause. Speaking up, getting medical support and starting HRT was a complete game-changer 🙌

So this year, she’s continuing to prioritise herself 👏

January started with flotation therapy at kindly gifted by Craig for Christmas (at her request 🤍).

From the moment Kerry arrived, Lewis made the experience feel calm, safe and welcoming. From the full induction to simple tips that genuinely enhanced the float. Music for the first half, silence for the second… and she’s very glad she trusted that recommendation 🎶

For someone who finds it hard to fully relax, the experience was fascinating, tuning into her breath, her heartbeat and realising just how still her body actually was. Kerry didn’t fully let go until the very end… which is apparently very normal. Next time? Kerry thinks she’d probably fall asleep 😴

50 minutes floating, a warm shower afterwards, everything provided and Kerry left feeling grounded, calm and really glad she did it 🤗

✨ January self-care complete… we wonder what February will bring ✨

We’d love to know what self-care are you choosing? Add it to the comments 👇

🦵💪 Squat to Single Dumbbell Press 🦵💪

Full-body strength in one powerful move 🔥

The squat into single dumbbell press is a brilliant compound exercise that challenges your legs, core, shoulders and balance all at once. Perfect if you’re short on time but still want an effective, functional workout that gets the heart rate up and builds lower-body and upper-body strength:

✔️ Improves balance and coordination
✔️ Boosts cardiovascular fitness
✔️ Great for everyday movement patterns

To get the most out of this move (and avoid injury), focus on these key technique points:

✔️ Feet shoulder-width apart, chest proud
✔️ Sit back into the squat, keeping your knees tracking over your toes
✔️ Core braced as you drive up through your heels
✔️ Press the dumbbell overhead as you stand, keeping your ribs down

Control the movement - no rushing, no swinging

Simple. Effective. Functional 👌

Save this one to try in your next session 😊

🌟Post Surgery Aftercare 🌟

Recovery doesn’t end when the surgery is over. It truly begins in the days that follow. Whether your procedure is cosmetic (tummy tuck, liposuction, breast surgery, hair transplant, eye surgery) or medical (hip replacement, knee replacement, C-section, hernia repair and more), the right aftercare can make a huge difference to your comfort, healing and long-term results.

It’s also important to know that Post Operative Lymphatic Drainage is very different from Manual Lymphatic Drainage. After surgery, the body is vulnerable, swollen and healing, which means the technique must be adapted, gentle, precise and performed by a fully trained Post Operative Lymphatic Drainage Specialist to ensure safety and the best outcomes.

My post surgery aftercare goes far beyond the treatment itself. Your recovery is supported on every level:

✨ Gentle, rhythmic lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling, ease tightness, improve mobility and support natural healing
✨ Education and guidance on supplements, nutrition and hydration to optimise recovery
✨ Support with compression garments, how to wear them, when to adjust and help choosing the right compression for your procedure
✨ Lifestyle and wellness guidance to keep your recovery moving forward
✨ Scar therapy massage once your incision is fully healed
✨ Monitoring for early signs of complications, with prompt referral back to your surgeon or a medical professional, if needed
✨ Stage-by-stage guidance, so you always know what’s normal and what to expect

Every client’s journey is unique and every body heals at its own pace. My goal is to guide you through each stage with clarity, comfort and confidence, helping you feel lighter, safer and fully supported throughout your recovery ❤️‍🩹

Surgery coming up? Already recovering? Send me a message. I’m here to help 😊
