A busy afternoon for residents yesterday, with an illustrated talk by art historian Jonathan Camp on Rembrandt’s ‘The Jewish Bride’, followed by an evening with ‘a touch of The Irish’ and a belated St Patrick’s Day meal in our Cote Café.
To the sound of traditional Irish music, specially decorated for the occasion, our diners were treated to a hearty pie of steak cooked in Guinness followed by some colour appropriate Key lime pie, all freshly cooked by our expert team of chefs at Cote Lane.
Tables were scattered with wise pearls of Irish wisdom for all to mull over, and the final verdict from everyone - It was grand!
