💫Our Vision for Grimsbury Community Farm, Kingswood, South Gloucestershire 💫

At Brandon, we see so much more than just a farm, we see potential 🤩

If we’re successful in taking on Grimsbury Farm, we have bold, inclusive, and exciting plans to bring it to life for everyone in the community.

Here’s what we’re dreaming of and planning for:

🌳 A vibrant community hub - a space for events, learning, and connection
🌿 Forest school experiences for children and young adults of all abilities to learn and explore
🧑‍🌾 Trainee placements and supported jobs for people with learning disabilities and autistic people
🛍️ Artisan markets and workshops to showcase local talent
👩‍👩‍👦 Family-friendly spaces and activities that bring people together
🐑 A working, sustainable farm that cares for the land and those on it

Our aspiration is simple:
To grow a farm where everyone feels welcome, valued, and involved.

We have been so grateful for all the amazing support shown to our bid, we are ready to show you all what we can do🤞💫

Allow us to introduce ourselves... We're the Brandon Playlink team 🤩

We're a small team of 4, managing, planning, arranging, and running the Brandon Playlink and Brandon Rewilded sessions.
Joe is our Locality manager, Amber our Project Coordinator, and Sammy and Rachael are our Project Leaders 💙

We support 200+ families across South Gloucestershire and North Somerset providing 1:2:1 support to children and young people with learning disabilities and autism at our fun and inclusive play schemes and Forest Skills sessions 🙌🏻

Brandon Trust is ready to grow the future of Grimsbury Farm 🌱

Brandon is a charity and not-for-profit – every penny we make goes straight back into supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities. We’ve already invested in the site using income we have generated and grants we have secured – and we are ready to do even more 💫

The proposal we’ve submitted to South Gloucestershire Council to take over Grimsbury Community Farm, Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, is a plan to grow the farm into a space that works for everyone 💗

Brandon Trust have submitted a proposal to secure the future of Grimsbury Farm 🌳

Brandon Trust have had the cafe at Grimsbury for several years, now, as well as Playlink having used the site for Playschemes before also. Grimsbury is very close to our hearts and we want to help make sure everyone can access the amazing beauty for many more years to come 🥰

It's that time of year again when Playlink could be awarded £5,000 through the Benefact Group!

£5,000 could make a huge difference to Playlink, enabling us to purchase more equipment and resources for the playschemes and funding more amazing and inclusive trips for the young people and children we support.

We still have spaces for our Forest Skills sessions for adults with learning disabilities and autism in North Somerset!

Imagine getting away from busy modern day living just for a couple of hours. Spending time outdoors getting closer to nature, taking time to relax and enjoy our surroundings.

Free sessions for individuals living or funded by North Somerset.

Activities include:
· Fire lighting and campfire cooking.
· Foraging.
· Crafts using natural materials.
· Green woodwork using traditional tools.
· Hands on land management skills.

Our friends over at are once again embarking on their 100mile bike ride to raise money for two charities close to their hearts- Brandon's Playlink and Travelling Light!

Local charity Travelling Light Theatre Company run a youth theatre group that provides a vital space for connection and creativity for young people with disabilities.
