It’s been an exciting few days for me in my role as President of the Federation of Holistic therapists, working at Therapy Expo .

For me, it’s a privilege to help you take care of your health and wellbeing , with therapies , yoga / meditation classes and retreats .

As a yoga teacher there's nothing greater than practising what you teach. Myself and my beauful friend Laura Bateman spent our second week in Italy at the OLEA yoga retreat Center with in the pretty village of Torri in Sabina .

We quickly became a yogi family of 16 , practicing yoga meditation and breath work daily , eating home cooked Italian food and just being present in nature and friendship.

These moments when we stop and reflect are so powerful. Feeling super chilled and flexible 💖

What a huge honour to be a guest speaker , yoga and meditation teacher at the incredible SpaFest event in North Wales .

To be in a room with industry experts sharing their expertise and care for people with cancer is what our industry does well .

The time has come to for this integrated approach to wellbeing to be available to all .

The Made for Life Foundation (registered charity 1138846) was founded in 2008 by Amanda Winwood, MD of Made For Life Organics skincare company, to provide holistic support for people diagnosed with and recovering from cancer.
The Made for Life Foundation organises days filled with complementary treatments, organic makeovers, nutritional advice, art therapy, meditation and relaxation techniques along with time for sharing and hugs.
The Made For Life Foundation offers special pamper days, around the UK, along with our workshops, talks and events. Those going through cancer, whether newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or in recovery, can come together and enjoy a “day off” from the condition.
To date, they have worked with people for 14 years to provide Made for Life days across the UK, supporting over 10,000 people

This is a dream come true for me , 30 years ago as a newly qualified holistic therapist, I joined The very prestigious " Federation of Holistic Therapists" ,the largest professional body for complementary, beauty and sports therapist .

Yesterday I became
The President of the FHT .

I am thrilled to bring all my years of knowledge to help other therapist on their journey to becoming successful in their own right maintaining the passion and professionalism , our sector is known for .

To be a therapist is a privilege and an honour, as we support our clients on their journey to healing and wellness .

I super excited

A fantastic weekend working in London for the Federation
Of Holistic Therapists

Meeting the wonderful Julia Bradbury and connecting with incredible holistic wellbeing doctors nutritionists and health professional .

The future of medicine lies in the intergation of complimentary and conventional.

For me as a clinical reflexologist , holistic therapist covering nutrition , meditation and yoga , it was inspiring to see so many people really acknowledge the importance of this combined approach to wellness .

I have so much to share with you all on your next visit to our fabulous clinic "Number 1 Therapy Rooms ".

Many of you know I teach yoga, meditation , breathe work and run retreats for my clients and students as part of my wellness programme at No 1 therapy rooms.

Yesterday we extended our teaching to family yoga , it was such a privilege to watch young teenagers and children enjoy yoga alongside their parents .

I teach meditation and yoga every Monday, classes are 6pm strength and stretch for men incorporating my knowledge as a sports therapist to the understanding of strength within the body followed by a yin meditation class at 7.45 for total relaxation and wind down .

Is it really March already ? I may have been quite here on Facebook , but it's been a super busy few months. Loving the beginning of the year as always I been taking super good care of myself. Listening to all the advice I give my Clients, meditation students and yoga students, to retreat for a little while from socials to take stock .

Here's what I've been doing in that time. Catching up with friends at Number 1 therapy rooms. Planning lots of relaxing yin yoga classes for my students. Judging the National Beauty Awards and training in new treatments .

And tonight it's the Proffesional Beauty Awards at The Brewery Montcalm in London .

So better get my posh frock on ready to watch the worthy winners collect their trophies .

Anyone that knows me well , will know that I am excited by January

I love new beginnings , new chapters and looking at what the year ahead holds .

As I reflect today on our first full year at No 1 , I look back at many happy times at the old post office , the wonderful times we all shared there , but I find myself now in the most beautiful space on my own life journey where I can apply all my energy , knowledge and passion to taking care of your wellbeing , our incredibly loyal and caring clients that remain on this journey with us .

Claire and I are excited for the coming year , so much to share with you , new treatments , new products , nutrition , yoga meditation wellbeing's workshops and retreats all aimed at keeping you in optimum health.

All of this along side my heart felt work on intetgrated medicine .

We wish you the happiest healthiest of 2025 and can't wait to see you soon .
