🔔I can hardly keep up with all these PB’s!🤩🔔
The “Lighting Bolt 10k” in Chippenham, was the scene of Natasha’s triumph last weekend 🤗
A self confessed; “…I usually start races too fast & end up paying for it later…” runner, the race psychology & physiology was very much a factor in our training 🧠👨🏻🔬
Natasha certainly knows the value of putting in a hard graft in the gym, to improve her speed & muscular endurance 🏃🏼♀️💨
But talking through the psychology of pacing, backed up by the science of the different energy systems & fuelling consequences at play during a race, really helped focus the mind on race day 🏁🥇
And the result… Speaks for itself 🥳
Running is often so much more than just putting one foot in front of the other - especially when you’re chasing PB’s & looking to improve 👣📈
