Race 8/8 completed ✅ and I'm chuffed I managed to show up to so many events this year!

Running has always been something I've struggled with but this year I've finally managed to find my rhythm and enjoy it.

Before 2025 I had never attempted a half marathon, HYROX and certainly not a 25k trail run but I put myself out there had a go and got it done ✅

Lots of goals achieved resistance forged, lessons learned and nuggets of knowledge gained from the experience.

Sometimes you've got to f**k around and find out!

A few events already in the diary for 2026 aiming to run further faster and harder. With the end goal of leaving my 30's behind and entering my 40's as the best version of myself physically, mentally and emotionally 🙌🏽

Race number 6 race Month number 6 of pretending to be a runner and failing successfully 😂

I've ran more this year than I have ever in my life at this point I don't think the police will ever catch me 😂

Successfully pushing myself outside my comfort zones searching for wins!

Another great client win 🏆

This transformation is the result of years of hard work and dedication.

Jen joined bootcamp in 2023 and has been consistently attending 3–5 times per week. She always pushes herself in training and has also been incredibly committed to tracking her nutrition.

At bootcamp, I regularly run nutrition workshops to help members learn how to optimise calories and macronutrients (carbs, fats, proteins). These sessions build strong habits that lead to lasting results.

Well done to everyone that took part in today it was a great event and beautiful medal as always.

It didn't go completely to plan and the hill got me again 🙄 I see some hill sprints being added to my training very soon 😬 but overall I'm pretty pleased with my result I was aiming for 50 minutes and came in at 51:11 a total of 4:23 faster than last year race 2/7 complete let's see how my first half goes in July.

By age 30 most men and women will never sprint again an absolutely crazy statistic.

Essentially as we get older we lose the ability to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone and opt for things that keep us in our safety bubble.

I'm by no means a runner but I'll give anything a go even if I'm terrible at it I know I will learn something from the experience.

If you want to get better at anything you have to put yourself out there and be prepared to fail pick yourself back up and try again. Each time you do this you will improve either the skill or your knowledge of it.

If you're not failing you're not learning!

I have recently started a 5-10k improvers run club in Hengrove South Bristol that's focused on getting better at the basics and feeling confident with running.
