Tea's a nice thought, it shows you're trying to make someone feel better. But real care? That's about actually listening, trying to get what the other person's going through. It's making them feel safe enough to open up without feeling silly. Sometimes, just being there is better than any advice.

Think about when you've really felt looked after. Was it just the tea, or was it the person who sat with you, properly listened, and gave you a boost or just stayed quiet with you? Care's about connecting, knowing we're all human. It's about seeing the person, not just the problem, and helping them in a way that actually makes sense for them. So let's keep offering the tea, but let's remember that real care means giving a bit more of ourselves, our time, and really trying to understand.
