Mobility Matters! ✨
When we talk about mobilisation in Pilates, we mean preparing the joints and muscles to move freely, efficiently, and without restriction.
It’s not just about “stretching” — mobilisation is the foundation for healthy, functional movement.

Took a break, hit the mountains, and got some serious R&R — mountain biking, fresh air, and soul resets 🚵‍♀️🌲
Now I’m back, recharged (with slightly sore forearms), and Pilates classes are officially back on 🤍

"I’d love to try Pilates, but I’m not flexible enough...”

I hear this all the time — and I’m here to bust that myth. ✨

➡️ You do NOT need to be flexible to start Pilates.

In fact, Pilates is how many people become more flexible — but it’s never the requirement.

Pilates focuses on:
✔️ Strength
✔️ Mobility
✔️ Alignment
✔️ Control
✔️ Body awareness

Flexibility is a byproduct of improved mobility, strength, and control. You’re not just stretching — you’re creating a body that can move freely and confidently.

Flexibility is just one of the many benefits of Pilates, it is not a prerequisite.

So whether you can touch your toes or not, you’re welcome on the mat 🤍
