If you’ve got a tub of cottage cheese sitting in your fridge, or just bought one like me on the food shop, you’ve got options galore! This humble little pot is packed with protein, swip free if you’re buying fat free, and ready to transform your meals and snacks.

Here are just a few ways I love to use it:

✨ Sweet Treats: Stir in a sprinkle of cinnamon and a chopped apple for a creamy, crunchy dessert—or topped with berries, banana and a drizzle of honey for a satisfying filling breakfast option.

🌿 Savory Swaps: Use it as a topping for jacket potatoes, mix into pasta sauces for extra creaminess, or dollop onto roasted veggies for a protein boost.

🍳 Breakfast Boost: Add it to scrambled eggs or spread it on wholemeal toast with sliced tomato and black pepper—so satisfying!

Friday night = family, comfort, and lasagne love! 🍽️❤️

There’s something magical about ending the week with a bubbling dish of homemade lasagne—layers of rich tomato sauce, creamy béchamel, and perfectly cooked pasta, all wrapped up in that golden cheesy top. It’s our absolute favourite and it never fails to bring everyone to the table with smiles (and second helpings!).

Whether you’re team classic beef, veggie-packed, or use slimming-friendly swaps like me, lasagne night is all about togetherness, laughter, and a little food optimised indulgence to kick off the weekend.

Wow! Last night in group was incredible. Last night I achieved my personal achievement target, a total loss of 3st 9.5lbs.

I’m not a new member, this wasn’t my first time joining a group but I knew this time needed to different. I’m a rejoining member. I walked back into group on 2nd January ready to do this for the last time!

As the weeks went by my confidence grew, my belief in myself and in my ability to food optimise grew and I started changing my habits and I felt my mindset shifting. I started planning and preparing my breakfasts and lunches, evening meals were family favourites and crammed with speed food.

With each award my belief I could actually achieve target grew, I’ve been the most social the last 10 months then I’ve ever been and still each week achieving my mini goals, getting weight losses with meals out, concerts, parties and our first holiday abroad all enjoyed to the max and all with shifts in how I approached them without missing out!

I’ve found a confidence I never had, I don’t feel overwhelmed anymore, I have more energy, I sleep better, my hormones are more settled. I enjoy life, I don’t regret or overthink or panic about going out. I’ve found a very expensive love of shopping! 😂🥰

Tonight I walked into group and achieved my target! 🎯 in December that was only a pipe dream.

A new chapter begins from today. A new journey, a slim for life journey. 🥰🥰 which couldn’t have been achieved without the unwavering support of my friend, teamie and consultant Leanne.

✨ Chinese takeaway night? YES PLEASE! ✨
Food Optimising means no more FOMO—just smart swaps and full-on flavour. I never dread takeaway anymore because I know I can enjoy it without guilt or compromise.

My go-to? Beef in black bean sauce with boiled rice. It’s rich, satisfying, and totally fits within my daily planning. No stress, no sacrifice—just deliciousness and feeling fab afterwards!

So if you’re craving a treat, remember: you don’t have to miss out. You just have to choose well 💚
