Last night in group we got right into all things activity — and wow, you lot had some brilliant (and PG 😉😂) ways to get moving!

We heard about everything from peaceful walks along the cycle track…
to smashing it at the gym…
10‑minute home workouts that fit into even the busiest day…
to Clubbercise in Longwell Green- get your glo sticks at the ready, couch to 5k, Pilates, Bootcamp and even outdoor yoga.

It was such a good reminder that moving more doesn’t have to be big, scary or perfect — it just has to be you.

🌱 The simple things become the biggest milestones

It’s the simple things we often take for granted… but today reminded me just how far I’ve come.

We went for a walk and a little picnic in the sunshine. It was warm, and as usual I’d thrown on my hoodie without thinking. But as I sat there watching little lady play, I realised something huge…
I’d taken my jumper off.
I was sitting there in a t‑shirt.
Comfortable. Present. Happy.

To some people that might sound trivial — but to me, it was massive, for someone who’s spent years hiding under layers, uncomfortable, it’s a breakthrough.

3st 9.5lbs ago, that jumper would never have come off. It was my safety blanket. I felt so uncomfortable and self‑conscious in my own skin that even on the hottest days, I’d stay covered up, overheating. Warm weather used to fill me with anxiety because the thought of wearing shorts or a t‑shirt felt impossible.

But today? Today I just was. No overthinking. No hiding. Just enjoying the moment.

✨ Throwback Thursday – Birthday Edition ✨

What a perfect day for a throwback… a birthday throwback at that.

This time last year, I’d been back as a Slimming World member for just 7 weeks and had already lost a stone. I was only at the very start of my journey, but I was beginning to feel better in myself and even getting back into photos with my little lady again.

Fast forward to today… and I’m another 2st 9.5lbs lighter than this photo. I’m loving my balanced lifestyle, my healthier mindset around food, and—something I never thought I’d say—I’m actually falling back in love with exercise. Not just for the physical changes, but for the huge mental health benefits that come with it. I adore being outside, going for walks, and genuinely embracing life again.

Now I’m stepping into the last year of my 30s with energy, confidence, and pride as a target member. I still can’t believe I’ve been at target for 4 months already.

Here’s to growth, gratitude, and feeling the best version of me yet 💛✨

✨ Motivation Monday ✨

A year ago, I was just two weeks away from my first stone award—nervous, excited, and still finding my feet on this journey. Fast forward to today, and I’m another 2 stone 11lbs lighter. That’s nearly 4 stone down in total… and I can honestly say, it’s changed my life in ways I never imagined.

This journey has never been just about the number on the scales. It’s about confidence, energy, and rediscovering the version of me that feels strong, proud, and in control, I even enjoy exercise! It’s about choosing self-care, showing up for myself, and proving that consistency really does pay off.

To anyone just starting out: keep going. That first stone is just the beginning. A year from now, you could be looking back with the same pride and joy I feel today 💪💖
