Every 6 months I have to get blood tests to check that my medication is not causing any issues. I barely slept last night and felt exhausted with a headache this morning.

Luckily my brother was driving today and sat in the waiting room. I did ask the nurse what kind of checks they're doing and she used lots of fancy words...I recognised white bloods cells and that was about it 🤣 I have unbelievably tiny veins and they have to use the smallest needles they have. One time they had to get it from my thumb...that really hurt.

Today was a bit painful as they had to try on both arms, eventually got there.

Then I 100% deserved a reward with Marks and Spencer Pain Au Chocolate (yum!)

I can't have these tests done at a GP....I presume it's because they manage and maintain my prescription at the hospital...(complete guess)

Does anyone else always bruise when you have your bloods done?

How does a single girl with a disability spend her evenings living alone?

Decorating my first home as a single girl in her 30s. Headed to B&Q to find some front door paint. After wandering around for what felt like forever I found it! Which colour is your favourite?

5 symptoms of multiple sclerosis I wish I didn't ignore
It's MS awareness week and these symptoms are some I wish I'd taken more notice of

20/04/2026

This week is MS awareness week and we're challenging the assumptions people make about multiple sclerosis. I know I have also made these assumptions in the past but the reality is that MS is different for everyone. If you have been diagnosed with a condition what assumptions have you encountered? Just driving back from Nantwich and being single for this amount of time always makes me think about long journeys alone. Love being able to listen to my Audible in quiet though tbf 🤣

I have been terrified to get my coil replaced because of the pain last time. I choose to have this done because it lowers the amount of migraines I have every month. It's 7 years old and it's not working as well as it used to so agreed with my neurologist to get it changed and see if it helps. Will evaluate if it has worked in a few months. If you have any questions let me know
