On September 7–8, 2025, the world will witness one of the most widely seen total lunar eclipses in history—with nearly 6 billion people able to experience this breathtaking celestial event!

The eclipse will last 5 hours and 27 minutes in total, featuring an extraordinary 82 minutes of totality, when the Moon will be fully immersed in Earth’s shadow. During this phase, it will glow in striking shades of deep red and copper—a mesmerizing Blood Moon spectacle.

Where will it be visible best?

Africa & Europe: The eclipse begins as the Moon rises, giving you the complete show in the evening sky.
Asia & Australia: Watch it late at night or in the early hours of September 8.
Pacific Islands: Excellent visibility across much of the Pacific.
Americas: Sadly, the eclipse won’t be visible here.

And here’s what makes it even more special—it happens just 2.6 days before perigee, when the Moon is closest to Earth. That means it will appear slightly larger and darker than usual—a rare Super Blood Moon!

Mark your calendars, hope for clear skies, and don’t miss this awe-inspiring moment that will unite stargazers across continents.

Home from a wholesome and hedonistic weekend at Shamabala festival, where my heart was cracked wide open and deep feelings of pain and sorrow sat alongside joy and abundance ✨
I read in a newsletter from Loren Lewis Cole recently, perhaps deepening is the expansion we’re chasing - and it felt like truth to me when I read those words, and I felt the truth of them again deep in my soul this weekend

Every day I joined my dear friend Rich to sing for Peace šŸ•Šļø and I was reminded how peace can only exist externally when we are truly at peace within. The songs lifted my spirits and carried me through the moments of doubt and fear, and they still echo through my mind now that we are home

Behind our tent was a row of hawthorn trees dripping in perfectly ripe red berries, and every time I collected water from the tap next to them I could hear them calling me to make medicine for my heart, and the hearts of all those who are in my yoga herbal community ā™„ļø
So before we left to bring our sweetly nourished and tenderised hearts home I gathered some berries, and now they sit in my kitchen gently steeping in organic apple cider vinegar. I give attention and gratitude to them every day ā™„ļø At the turning of the moon I’ll add raw honey to create a potent oxymel, and a few drops each day will provide deep nourishment for hearts and souls

Did you know that hawthorn offers its leaves, blossoms and berries as medicine for our hearts? Both the physical and the emotional structures of the heart benefit from this medicine of our land

I had two conversations this weekend that encouraged me to share my offerings again here - a dear soul who I hadn’t seen for a decade in person, but who shared with me that she found my offerings online so helpful and supportive šŸ™šŸ½ and a talk with Kaz from Seed Sistas, who reminded me that I know enough to share with the world, that my work has value and importance. The voice that tells me to pipe down has been soothed and sushed and I’m here 🌹

It was beautiful to connect with the folk around me, so many who offer so much nourishment and wisdom in their own work.
Leeza Jessie my sweet camp neighbour
Matter Wholefoods nourishing our bellies with organic fruits and veg
Rose 🌹 whose hearts love always astounds me
Richard Lobb who brings such fun and care alongside songs of peace
Jenny Sanders who holds the most incredible vision for our children
Seed Sistas who brought the power, the mirth and the inspiration of herbal medicine
Alana’s Kitchen for a brief moment of connection and sisterhood
George Rose for the best hug and cheekiest laugh that made me warm all over
alexthetangerine, the most incredible human I have the joy of mothering

Thank you to the land

Thank you to the šŸŒ™ new moon and the stars that watched over us all

So much now is transforming, both out there in the world and deep within the many layers of our being. All of the pieces of us are rising to the surface.

We are seeing how we have transformed and who we are now….

A New Moon arrives in Leo on 24th July 2025.

To make sense of paradox, to weave with cohesion the threads of the many colours of us and braid them like sweetgrass into a pattern that brings remembrance of who we have always been, is no small thing.

There is an ancestral wisdom and language that speaks to us now – of a love that has always been at the centre of everything. A fountain that cascades the healing and rejuvenating waters of life. Mind cannot always make sense of things but hearts know. An ancient pulse is calling us home. Calling us home to the garden.

We follow the string through the labyrinth of our lives, facing the fears that are part of our human experience, keeping walking with a courageous heart.

In Jyotish this New Moon lies in Cancer and Pushya Nakshatra, the star of nourishment. The July New Moon occurs with Moon in its own sign, Cancer, transiting Pushya nakshatra at the time of emptiness. Pushya nakshatra is ruled by Brihaspati, another name for Jupiter, giver of nourishment and powerful support through wisdom. This star supports balance through expansion and contraction, opening and closing. the pulse.

Open your heart and be clear with your innate body wisdom. Clear and release undigested or stagnant grief. Gather support, guidance and wisdom for healing and transformation. Maximise this powerful cycle and create your clear, soul nourishing path.

The geometry of this New Moon is amazing – it literally aspects all the slow-moving planets: triggering the newly formed Pluto/Neptune/Uranus minor triangle – an auspicious configuration that will unfold over the next few years.

Glimpses of the World’s next version of itself. It has been downloading into our collective field. There’s a world of opportunity awaiting the courageous. The question is: will we rise to what it takes to make the most of it? The world is changing – radically, irreversibly – and the deeper question becomes: What role do we want to play in it?

At this New Moon in Leo, we’re tuning into larger forces at play – and we’re being called to step in with Leo courage and claim our role in this emerging reality.

This is a time to remember and reclaim what’s unique about you – your voice, your life story, your gifts, your creative quirks, your boldness – the qualities only you can bring to the table. And ask yourself how much you are wanting to embrace of this? Times are changing, and it’s in our best interest to evolve along with them.

This New Moon is an invitation to start becoming who we’re really meant to be. Because this new world needs the real you.

Remembering the Power of Who We Are
There are moments in life when we’re asked to become the flame that lights the hearth of our dreams, desires, and expression. Not for the purpose of chasing the light or basking in it, but to remember that we are this light. This is an invitation to rekindle your inner spirit.

In a sky filled with retrogrades and evolutionary tension, this lunation becomes a mirror and a torch that reflects the shadows we’ve outgrown, while also illuminating the frequency of our most courageous Self.

This New Moon is more than a chance to set intentions, it’s a call to embody the soul of the artist, the healer, the creator, the lover, and the leader that lives within each of us.

This isn’t about shining for the world, it’s about choosing to shine for ourselves so that the rays help to lead ourselves forward, as well as all those who cross our path. This Leo New Moon doesn’t just ask us to set goals, it asks us to remember our soul’s glow.

May this lunation be a soft roar, a reminder that our heart’s voice is not too loud, too much, too needy, or too boisterous, but is, instead, the compass that leads the way.

How is your heart?
What are your heart’s truest desires?
What would happen if you brought your whole heart to your life?

To love, to create, to let yourself be seen for who you really are -
These are acts of courage. Courageousness comes from the resilient, noble nature of the heart.
Let life in. Let love in.

The symbol of the Wise Woman tradition is a spiral.
A spiral is a cycle as it moves through time.
A spiral is movement around and beyond a circle,
always returning to itself,
but never at exactly the same place.
Spirals never repeat themselves.

The symbol of the Wise Woman tradition is the spiral.
The spiral is the bubbling cauldron.
The spiral is the curl of the wave.
The spiral is the lift of the wind.
The spiral is the whirlpool of water.
The spiral is the umbilical cord.
The spiral is the great serpent.
The spiral is the path of the earth.
The spiral is the twist of the helix.
The spiral is the spin of our galaxy.
The spiral is the soft guts.
The spiral is the labyrinth.
The spiral is the womb-moon-tide mobius pull.
The spiral is your individual life.
The spiral is the passage between worlds:
birth passing into death passing into birth.
The path of enlightenment is the spiral dance of bliss.

There are moments in our lives when the world feels still, but within that stillness something deeper stirs. The Capricorn Full Moon on July 10, 2025, is one of those moments, a high point of sacred witnessing where our soul’s steady efforts are illuminated under the silvery glaze of the Full Moon.

This lunation asks us to pause and look back at how far we’ve come in order to integrate all we’ve learned on our path thus far.

Capricorn reminds us that maturity is not found in hardness or rigidity, but within the cultivation of inner resilience. It’s not about wearing a mask of strength, but revealing the earned wisdom that comes from enduring.

This particular Full Moon is calling us to check in with our sacred vows, both to ourselves and to those whom we walk beside. What promises are we ready to renew, and which are we finally ready to release?

We are invited to cross a karmic threshold – a space for endings and beginnings. This Full Moon is a wise elder, inviting us to sit beside her – to listen, to reflect, to renew our sacred vows.

Themes:
Integration of the Past and Embodiment of the Future
Sacred Commitments and Wisdom
Soul Evolution
Dreaming new worlds
Caretaking

Saturn retrogrades in Pisces on July 12th until the end of November, creating a deep emotional body clean up. The ancestors are asking you to show up, pay attention, and do the emotional work necessary for lineage healing. This is a powerful time to strengthen your relationship with your ancestors and do your grief work. Have you grieved enough? Retrograde Saturn encourages clean up of bones, spine, structure, old and ancient things, grief. Saturn loves yoga, meditation, physical body strength, all things that come from the earth, and integrity. Put in the work and you will get the results.

Mercury retrogrades in Cancer on July 18th until August 11th. Mind and emotions ask you to awaken your boundaries, heart wisdom, and emotional body intelligence. There will be another layer of emotional body clean up taking place in tandem with Saturn retrograde this month.

These two water signs are creating an invitation to feel more. Use this cycle to listen to your emotional body and let it move, release, flow. Mercury loves to clean up matters of the mind, nervous system, communication, creativity, and abundance.

This Full Moon and Guru Purnima occur in Purvashada nakshatra and Sagittarius. This constellation is ruled by Apas, the water goddess. The Full Moon brings a special blessing of wisdom, nourishment and protection. Guru Purnima, the ā€œfull moon of the guru,ā€ honours all teachers, gurus and guides, as well as the inner guru within your heart.

On this Full Moon, take a moment to remember whatever has guided, nourished or protected you in your life journey.

Purva Ashadha, the ā€œInvincible Star,ā€ is symbolised by an elephant tusk. This area of the sky is connected to the elephant-headed god, Ganesha, who is revered as the Remover of Obstacles.

This Full Moon brings a positive momentum and is a good day to make plans and launch projects. A direct aspect (dristi) of Jupiter brings an extra blessing to this expansive Full Moon, however, action must be paired with discernment, as the days following the full moon introduce a complex web of planetary shifts.

Use the coming weeks to tap your resources, and transform darkness into light. Allow yourself to be washed clean. Purify, awaken, seek transformation and renewal through your emotional body.

Allow your inner waters to wash your heart clean, your inner temple. Clear and organise your home space, your outer temple.

Bring more sattva (lightness) to your environment. Allow Spirit to be a resource for gathering clarity, wisdom and support while setting intentions for your health, life and soul’s purpose for the coming cycles.

Go slow, be gentle with yourselves and others. Relationships are a powerful source of healing in the cycle ahead- especially the relationship with yourself. Love yourself enough to tenderly care for your inner and outer needs through respect, clarity and intention.

Despite any challenging planetary influences, Guru Purnima Full Moon is a window of expansion and hope.

To those who have been a beacon of light for others:
Guru Brahma,
Guru Vishnu,
Guru devo Maheshwara,
Guru sakshat, param Brahma,
tasmai shri guravay namah.

Guru is the creator, sustainer and the destroyer.
It is the transcendental divinity,
the timeless life-principle, the very essence of the creator.
I make my offering to the Guru, the auspicious remover of my darkness and my ignorance;
My salutations of gratitude for that glorious teacher.
— A prayer from the Guru Gita
in the Skanda Purana (6th-15th century AD)

We have been moving through an extremely transformative passage and whatever experiences have unfolded for each of us they have brought us to a new place…
Capricorn embodies our elder wisdom which guides us to stay in alignment with our Soul….

There are seeds of love taking root, slowly unfurling within us - and so our task is to keep grounding in the rich soil of our earth, our bodies and our rituals, so that we can fortify our nervous systems and strengthen our channels of light…

The New Moon in Cancer June 25th is part of a longer becoming. A collective initiation. This New Moon is a rare moment in the eye of a storm. As collective skies darken and the winds of change accelerate, this new moon calls for clarity.

The Cancer New Moon arrives, feeling like a soft exhale, a much needed invitation to return to self, to stillness, and to the quiet wisdom of the inner world.

The Sun and Moon meet Jupiter and Mercury in Cancer, drawing us inward—at a moment where many of us may feel raw, uncertain, and overwhelmed.

This Moon asks us to listen from the inside out.
To feel what’s beneath the surface.
To tend to what’s been left unseen.
Grit, grief and grace.

The call to grow, to rebuild, to forge new structures of care, first within ourselves. And then in the world at large.

If you’re tired, unsure, or searching for a sense of safety - let this be a moment to feel held.

Any discomfort arrives to shape you. To help you build capacity.
To name where care is needed.

The new moon falls in the area of the sky called Ardra Nakshatraā€”ā€the star of storms,ā€ that has the shakti to stir up storms. Ruled by the wild form of Lord Shiva, Rudra, Ardra awakens an inner tempest of feelings that must be witnessed and honoured. Symbolised by a teardrop, Ardra New Moon can bring tears, but also bring nourishing rains of resolution and peace.

This New Moon is a unique opportunity that could give a rare glimpse into your heart, your truth and your future. Listen carefully.

A tricky combination of planets pushes the edge of reality as we know it - secrets, censorship, and backdoor manipulations.

This New Moon is a powerful time to turn within and face what divides, whether collectively or on a personal level.

After a series of astrological high tides, this lunation is a balm, reminding us that safety is not something we chase, but something we cultivate and establish within.

Cancer is the archetype of the womb, the hearth, the heart that remembers who we are when the world feels noisy.

But this New Moon is more than an offering for emotional renewal, it is a threshold that is marked by its exact conjunction with Jupiter in Cancer, and its square to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries; a rare and potent cosmic meeting that challenges us to embody spiritual leadership, emotional maturity, and the courage to surrender what no longer nurtures us.

We are redefining what it means to be ā€œhomeā€ - in our bodies, our relationships, our creative expression.

This lunation is not a passive journey, it’s an active reclamation. A remembering. A cosmic invitation to choose softness as strength, devotion as direction, and sensitivity as sacred power.

We are stepping into a new paradigm, one where truth is gentle, care is normal, and softness is not weakness. We can allow the waves of this New Moon wash over the parts of us that have been yearning to be held.

Reflections
• What does it feel like to come home to Self?
• can I soften into flow?
• What does ā€œbeing heldā€ feel like in my body?
• What would change if I believed that slowing down was sacred?
• What messages have been whispered through my intuition that I’m ready to honour and to envision?

This is the rebirth of self-trust rooted in intuitive knowing and gentle boundaries.

This lunation teaches us that faith is not passive; it’s an inner alignment that guides our steps with grace.

This is a Portal of Quantum Change - something new is being born through the cracks.

In a world that feels like it’s cracking open
Let the waters hold you.

The Sagittarius Full Moon arrives like a call from the future, an inner fire flickering in the direction of expansion, truth, and infinite possibility. This moon is not quiet. It is searching, stretching – our beliefs, our idea of Self, and our willingness to rewrite all we thought we knew.

There is a profound honesty in this Moon. A wild beauty. The future is calling through intuition, imagination, and trust. There is a tension between where we have come from and where we are destined to travel.

Called ā€œStrawberry Moonā€ which comes from Indigenous North American traditions, marking the season of harvesting wild strawberries. This is a moon of abundance, celebration, and full-hearted expression.

Sometimes illumination comes from movement and flow. Sometimes it finds us mid-dance, heart pounding, mind open, our soul free.

Jupiter is moving into Cancer just before this Full Moon. A new cycle of leading from the heart. Dreaming bigger, feeling more deeply, learning how to follow our inner compass. Growth comes through deep roots. we welcome the blessing of these healing energies that are here to support us in moving toward what feels most authentic, nurturing and true…

The Sagittarius Full Moon reminds us that we are not meant to stay small, safe, or silently aligned with outdated dreams.
We are meant to expand, to express, and to evolve. Through purpose. Through asking more evolved questions. The journey ahead is not linear. It’s soulful. It’s spiralling. It’s filled with wild grace.

This Full Moon is a threshold. A bright, brave one. And the only thing it asks is that we tell ourselves the truth.

Themes
The Quest for Personal Truth: This lunation asks us to claim a truth that is truly ours, not the narrative we were handed.
A karmic crossroads: softness, trust, release.
• What truth have I been circling around?
• What belief no longer belongs to the version of me I’m becoming?
• What part of me is longing to explore, create, or express, even if it doesn’t yet ā€œmake senseā€?

Our Self is like the phoenix and is the beautiful shape of us that remains as we are forged through the fires of our lives… it is what is most beautiful about us because it is what’s most tender and real…

This full moon of June 11th 2025 ignites courage, clarity, and inner strength in the face of chaotic change. Themes of respect, authority, and freedom burn brightly now, as this Full Moon casts a bold light into the shadows of oppression, self-doubt, and suppressed truth.

This Full moon Falls within sidereal (in Jyotish) Scorpio, a sign of deep emotional intensity and transformation. Scorpio is ruled by the red planet, Mars, which is now transiting sidereal Leo, sparking creativity, will power, and courage to rise after a fall.

The Full Moon is in the area of the sky called Jyestha, the star of the elder queen, a revered goddess of power. Over time, Jyestha Devi has been misunderstood as she fell from her position as queen. Consider, in what ways you have felt disenfranchised, or where you’ve perhaps internalised a lack of self-worth because of age, origin, or identity. Jyestha full moon is a call to reclaim what has been exiled within you.

There is also a chaotic influence called Kala Sarpa Yoga, an alignment called the ā€œserpent of timeā€ which continues to stir up collective karmic storms. There’s a sense of a squeeze within the serpent—a collective karmic pressure that can awaken, but also overwhelm.

In 2025 and 2026, Saturn is aligning with the nebulous planet Neptune, signaling an important historical turning point. Old structures are dissolving and large-scale social shifts are approaching. This Full Moon casts a revealing light on shifting ideologies.

It’s an auspicious time for travel, learning, and meaningful exchange. Let this full moon guide you to a deeper connection with your inner wisdom and voice.

In ancient cultures, those who embodied the original spark of spirit – priests, visionaries, mystics, creators – were held in the highest regard.

Why? Because they tapped into the primordial fire – the source code, the living intelligence behind all form. They were the intention-setters. The architects of possibility.

So it begins with a spark, a sacred fire – it all begins in the light. This is you, the path is revealed …. The deep knowing of you

Keep walking in Beauty

During June I have some appointments available for specialist abdominal massage, from my private therapy space in BS16 in east Bristol. These sessions can be booked on Mondays, Wednesdays or Saturdays on a sliding scale of £50-75 for an hour and a half treatment.

This form of abdominal massage weaves together rebozo rocking and wrapping, and hands on massage using handcrafted herbal aromatherapy oils.
The treatment helps bring focus to your entire abdominal and pelvic area, increasing circulation of both blood flow and energy.
If you are in a postnatal period, the treatment will also include specialist postnatal recovery massage šŸ’—

Abdominal massage can be a wonderful support for pelvic health, helping us connect to our deep inner organs, and easing symptoms relating to hormonal health, gut health and lower back pain.

Treatment begins with rocking of the pelvis with a rebozo, a special cloth woven for both strength and flexibility, to help relax the muscles around the abdominal area in preparation for massage. After the massage we wrap the pelvis with the rebozo and take time for a guided relaxation, allowing for the benefits of the treatment to be absorbed and integrated.

I have been practicing massage therapy since 2007, with a special focus of female health since 2013. Working with herbal oils helps to bring an added layer of depth to the treatment, our plant friends bringing their own special wisdom 🌿

It is an honour to share this potent healing practice with you

If you have any questions please reach out to me,

Amisha is one of the teachers I return to every year, her offerings are so rich. If you feel called I recommend reading out 🌹

I have found the past five years to be full of intensity - grief, betrayal, illness, genocide and more. Although the circumstances we all find are different - there seems to be a thread that many people I speak to have felt pushed during these years - to face themselves and society - to deepen their capacity.

You might wonder what does a goddess like Lakshmi offer in times of crisis - there is a softness and grace - a strength and hope - to create something more beautiful, to appreciate the sweetness we have - to bring an anchoring of generosity, ecology and justice into the way we live.

When times are harder, it’s easy to put up walls, and go into fight or flight. Some of you know I have been caring for my mum for five years, although the past three have been the most intense. People often tell me I need to go live my own life, and speak of the burden. I don’t relate to that as this is my life to tend to what is here - and what I have found is that rather than see it as a burden, I see it as an opportunity to deepen, in my capacity for love and patience, in my capacity to be with things that are challenging and horrendous, in my capacity to anchor the sacred in the small moments. I am allowing myself to be transformed in beautiful ways through the challenge.

We tend to think of wealth as money and material success, but the eight forms of Lakshmi, the Ashta Lakshmi, shows us that there are different forms of wealth and how we can understand the abundant nature of life. We will explore these more deeply in The Radiant Field. It starts today.

Comment Yes to receive the eight different forms of Lakshmi and to find out more about The Radiant Field. We start today (and there is even a little late bird offer there for you).

Love Amisha
