Full moon blessings ✨🌝✨

October opens its windows with a Full Moon in Aries on the 6th. This Full Moon completes the Eclipse New Moon cycle.

Revelations … we can understand, review, revise and restore. We arrive at the truth of the matter.

We know that we must remain anchored in loving relationship with Self. The dialogue that lies within and hidden is the architect of our lives.

Any triggers now are an opportunity to work through and not avoid. We must understand how we are changing, who we are becoming.

Pause. Ponder. Then respond. Be clear and intentional.
A new beginning is here.
Claim your courage.

Take that first step, trust, it might feel like a leap of faith. And yet you can and will discover that you can fly.

The Aries Moon asks: Where are you ready to stop waiting and start acting?

This lunation is about finding the courage to speak truthfully, set boundaries, and trust your deepest instincts.

At its core, the Aries Full Moon reminds us that clarity grows when we honour our own agency. That clarity, while sometimes uncomfortable, is the beginning of a forward momentum.

Even in situations where you don’t control the outcome, you can choose to act in alignment with your truth, set clear intentions, and step forward with courage.

Beginnings seeded within endings.

Spiritual growth now isn’t about retreat or withdrawal — it’s about testing your truth in real time. Journaling, breathwork, or physical practices (like yoga or walking meditations) can help integrate the fiery energy into grounded awareness.

The October 6th harvest Full Moon is a super moon and this auspicious Full Moon brings a powerful blessing with it.

Called Sharad Purnima, this is the Full Moon when Goddess Lakshmi showers the earth with a blessed light, and enlivens the kalas of love, compassion, courage, creativity, and joy.

To receive the blessings on this full moon, step outside and take a moment to soak in the moonlight. This is the perfect night to create “moon water or moon milk”—place a glass of water (or use sweetened dairy, oat, or almond milk) beneath the moonlight for a few hours. It is also good for charging crystals.

The Sharad Purnima is also the night of the magical rasa-lila, an ecstatic dance of the gopis with Lord Krishna that lasted for an eternity.

This year’s Sharad Full Moon falls in the area of the sky called Revati, a star of nourishment, refuge and guidance. Revati is the final of all the 27 lunar mansions, signalling endings and new beginnings. It’s also the star that protects and guides lost animals, travellers and souls home. Revati nakshatra is the last constellation of the zodiac. Its ruling deity, Pushan, helps make travels prosperous and nourishing. He supports the path and allows receiving, abundance, and offers resources for greater support and guidance.

Pushan helps those that are lost find their purpose and he will redirect you towards your path. He is the shepherd that finds the lost sheep and brings them back to the flock. He protects and nourishes all paths and will help you locate the hidden treasures on your journey.

The deeper lessons of this Full Moon may come with a chance to let go of the past and head for a higher and more nourishing ground.

Something positive is taking root now, even if it may not yet be fully visible. This is a Full Moon to reclaim your light and visualise the blessings of peace and protection falling like rain over the earth.

The moon, or our moon signs, are said to represent the inner landscape of our beings. Our emotions are ruled by our moon sign. We will feel these fully.

Old identities and outdated roles fall away. Masks slip. Image burns off in the fire. What remains is raw essence. The courage to simply be.

Perception sharpens. Insight cuts to the truth. What was hidden comes into view.

We are stripped bare, granted vision to see things, especially ourselves in new light. We release false layers of identity and recognise a deeper truth of who we are.

What next?
What old story of self is finished?

Now is an invitation to slow down, take stock and re assess how we are moving forward and to reconnect ever more deeply to our ‘why’.

To truly ‘hear’ our authentic Selves - we must carve out time to truly listen.

Our identity is not static – it’s not a flawless portrait frozen in time – but is shaped, again and again - like a carving of something exquisite.

Shakti, life force energy, is at an all-time low right now. Inner waters are slow and trickling. The body dries out easily and feels extra sensitive.

This is not a time to deplete your life force further. Ayurveda offers incredible wisdom for increasing life force energy in the body. This is a good time to get more rest, eat warm, easily digestible foods, do your fall cleanse, and stay warm. Follow your Ayurvedic protocols and be vigilant with your health.

Doors are closing. Are you honouring the process of letting go properly? Are you making space for the new? Immense potential is available. Be intentional with what you are creating.

Anchor, Dream and let light create the matrix to manifest all you truly are ....

Sweet Dreams ###

During these next three nights of Navratri, we celebrate Maa Saraswati, also known as Hamsa Devi (Goddess of the Swan). She is the healing, cleansing and illuminating aspect of Divine Mother, who governs sound, music, healing, wisdom, knowledge and the arts.

Saraswati means “She Who Flows,” because she represents Om/Aum, the most sublime vibration of the Universe that streams into all of creation through the blissful divine sound current (Nada Brahma).

In other words, Saraswati is the essence of the purifying and creative force within the divine spiritual energy that flows from Source as the "water of life." May the grace of Saraswati bestow protection on all beings, especially those in harm's way in all corners of the world.

Aum Aing Saraswatye Namah! Aum Aing Saraswatye Namah! Aum Aing Saraswatye Namah!

Equinox blessings to you today ✨
As the seasons shift we come to the time of Navaratri, the nine nights of the Goddess, when we honour the divine in the many faces and forms of Ma ⭕️ 🔥🌹

The nine nights begins tonight, with a descent into the depths of darkness within which the Goddess Durga is called forth. As we journey through those nine nights we traverse the depths of our own psyche, alongside the darkness that pervades the world around us at this time. Opening our hearts to the fire of transformation requires courage, and the simple power of devotion to our practice can be the steadfastness we need to see this through.

These recent days and weeks have felt like the dominion of the demon king from the story of Navaratri has been reigning with terror. Every year the story of Navaratri is the same, and a different aspect seems to take precedence - this year, for me, it’s how to stay resourced, stay rooted in devotion to Love as the ultimate force for all. How to stay in the conversation, however uncomfortable it may be, keep standing for the oppressed, for the vulnerable of this world.

I’ll be journeying these nine nights with guidance from Amisha Ghadiali, for the 7th year - if you feel called, I recommended joining Amisha’s offering. At a time where polarisation seems to be in every sphere, Amisha welcomes inclusivity to a practice from her own culture, which feels like a precious gift. Link to Amisha’s profile in comments 🌹

Equinox skies 🌞

After days and days of rain this perfect blue and radiant sunshine, the balance that equinox brings

And I breathe

I’ve been thinking a lot about equinox in recent days, the balance of day and night, light and dark. How it feels as though there is a deep need for balance in our world right now. Recent weeks have seen protests, riots, the polarising of people on one side or another.

I watch my social media feed show both sides of these arguments, debates, ongoing and escalating tensions and fears. In my life I experience many sides to this - there are people I love dearly who share things I am scared and horrified by, people who share things I don’t quite understand, people who seem to echo my own thoughts and feelings. And I watch news reports that seem to push us ever further into one polarity or another, anchor us on one side or another, unable to hear what anyone else is saying and in fear of being labelled or judged.

This morning I’m breathing, and remembering what equinox teaches us about balance - that light and dark, day and night, masculine and feminine and everything in between is all welcome - not just welcome, but essential for the creation and sustaining of life. We are taught to favour one over another - that day is better than night, masculine stronger than feminine, might over softness. But all this does is polarise us and push us apart, when in reality we were born to be together.

We live in a time when inclusivity is essential - and that is challenging for us all. It’s easy to exist in an echo chamber where everyone agrees with you, but reality is not that. We must all challenge ourselves to be truly inclusive, to remember Love at the heart of everything we do

And don’t allow those who profit from pushing us apart to have the final word

So today I’m seeking balance within myself, asking to be shown where within me those polarities exist, how can I soften them and come back to wholeness

On September 21st, 2025, we have a powerful Solar Eclipse in Virgo

As we build up to this Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo on September 21st at the very final and catalytic 29th degree, we might be coming to some pivotal decisions around what we are complete with...

Day to day things may not appear to change, but what does shift is our perception.

The invitation is less about force and more about surrender, releasing the need to push or perfect life into how the mind thinks everything should be.

The highest medicine that the Virgo archetype embodies is one of reclaiming our own wholeness... and this gift of wholeness is one that comes with a deep acceptance of ourselves and our bodies as being imperfectly perfect and knowing of who we are on a Soul level...

we return to wholeness through our loving

There are three harmonics resonating

Surrender to Trust – Things are already perfect. The field is holding us.

Simplicity as Medicine

Self-Acceptance - even in moments when wisdom feels absent or tools seem forgotten, we are still within the geometry of our becoming.

We are experiencing both transformation and metamorphosis.

The Equinox approaches, day and night in equal balance. Sun and Moon in Eclipse union. Shadow and Light meeting in perfect harmony.

So breathe. Ground. Return to practices that regulate your nervous system, steady the Luminous body, calm the mind, and widen your field of awareness. Create space for lightness, joy, and coherence.

And as you feel into this season, reflect - where were you last September? Where are you now? What wisdom did that eclipse cycle gift you?

This is a South Node eclipse, which brings existing themes to a head and calls for resolution, release, or integration of what has already been set in motion.

Happening just hours before the equinox, this final-degree Virgo eclipse signals a major turning point in what’s been unfolding over the past 6 months.

Everyday choices give our lives a certain rhythm and anchor us. We may need a job to pay our bills, we may need to keep our house in order, we may need to fuel the car to get around. All of these Virgoan concerns are necessary to function in the world.

But the same structures we rely on to manage all these aspects of daily life can also become the prison of our everyday reality – limiting us if we never question or refresh them.

With the Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo opposing Saturn at 28° Pisces, we are becoming more aware than ever of the limitations of the lifestyle we’ve created for ourselves.

What can we do about these self-made boundaries that both hold us together and hold us back?

But because this is a South Node eclipse, the “new beginning” is not about chasing something brand new. Instead, it’s about refining, improving, or elevating some part of your current reality – taking things to the next level.

What areas of your life need adjustment, so you can free up space to meet the unknown.

This is not about running away from your old life. It is identifying the blocks, what is keeping you in a place you’ve already outgrown – perhaps because it felt safe, or because you didn’t see other options.

Now, it’s time to reimagine a new setup where you can move forward more freely and intentionally.

The Solar Eclipse opposing Saturn and Neptune says: in 5 months from now, you’re going to embark on a major new journey. Start preparing. You have one piece of luggage and 5 months to decide what you’ll pack.

Eclipses often bring sudden pivots. This one is less about dramatic action and more about course correction — shifting away from self-criticism, over-functioning, or old patterns, and moving toward what feels aligned, sustainable, and true.

Think of it as a cosmic checkpoint: you don’t need to do more, you just need to do what matters most.

It is ok to be both breaking and blooming…..

Practical Magic - at 29° Virgo, this lunation points to maturity. You don’t need to reinvent yourself — you need to use what you already know and rely on your lived experience.

Redirection in Action - develop new patterns in health, work, and relationships. Pay attention to what feels unsustainable or heavy. If something ends, it’s making room for a more functional way forward.

Patterns of Belonging - trust where you feel you belong.

This solar eclipse launches a six-month cycle. What shifts now will ripple forward. The work isn’t to manifest in the traditional sense but to cooperate with what’s unfolding.

According to Vedic astrology, this solar eclipse is created by the shadow graha, Ketu, a headless snake that sheds the past and brings karmic liberation. Ketu distorts, transforms, and cuts attachments, forcing new phases to begin. If you’ve been facing inward shifts, struggles, or challenges, this eclipse may mark the cusp of an important breakthrough.

This solar eclipse is in the area of the sky called Uttara Phalguni, a nakshatra of spiritual love, truth, and unity.

This eclipse will open a special portal of healing and empowerment––Navratri, the nine nights of the goddess, when the power of the Divine Feminine rises on earth. Starting Sept 22nd, 2025, for nine-nights, the life-protecting forces of the Divine Mother are honoured and invoked through prayer and ritual.

As each of us experiences a release and feels our profound tenderness and our humanity, we become like healing waters

Gift yourself love and devotion, fill your cup
Repair. Refine. Simplify.
press the reset button, this is a moment pregnant with exquisite precision.
This is a prayer for:
Refinement, not punishment.
Service, not servitude.
Order that allows space for God.
Acts of devotion that heal.

You are the Elixir, sip deeply ....

Full moon incoming 🌕 with potent eclipses following over the coming weeks. These words helped me find perspective in the thoughts and feelings that have begun shifting over this weekend. Time to ground, find the earth, find our roots, trust our inner knowing xx

On September 7th, 2025, we have a Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces.
82 minutes long

All of the current planetary forces are reflecting this big passage of change that we are collectively and personally moving through... The eclipse is total – which means it’s intense. And it’s in the middle of the sign (15° Pisces) – right at the heart of the Piscean territory.

This Eclipse season is a bridge across time in which our growth is being accelerated through destined developments and trajectory shifts that in some cases are reshaping the landscape of our lives...

We are moving through a process of rebirth that necessitates the dissolving of previous structures and mental thought forms that we can't carry forward into our new life...

We are being supported in letting go….. there is both a dissolving and a rebirth present and for each of us it is showing up in its own particular way...

and much of what we are dissolving is connected to the South Node in Virgo which is about releasing our tendencies to self-sacrifice and self-abandon...

Saturn has been holding us steady in our growth, through all of our lessons, refining us with time and wisdom and most importantly in the maturation of our love... a love so good, that allowing it to blossom in its own timing is the fulfilment of the most divine nectar...

Both Virgo and Pisces want to reach some sort of ‘perfection’

• In Virgo – through constant self-improvement: diet, wellness, self-nourishment, lifestyle. The approach is rooted in the physical world.
• In Pisces – through merging with something that is already perfect, something we perhaps cannot fully grasp, yet it calls us. Pisces is where our higher self tries to connect with us through symbols and signs: a dream you can’t shake, a chance encounter that rings like a bell, a longing you feel deeply.

The Age Of Virgo, The Age Of Pisces
Virgo, the maiden with the grains, symbolises the shift from hunting and gathering to agriculture. That shift began around 12.000 BCE, at the dawn of the Neolithic era, when we entered the Age of Virgo. Interestingly, much of that order grew around temples – the Piscean need to worship and merge with something vast.
And then approx. 2000 years ago, corresponding to the birth of Jesus, we entered the Age of Pisces, with its signatures of spirituality, and faith. Just as Virgoan agriculture and settlement once gathered around temples – giving form to a Piscean need to worship – so too did the Piscean call gave rise to Virgoan structures: the routines and systems of daily life that kept devotion anchored.

We are now transitioning into the Age of Aquarius, with a wholly different set of logics and priorities.

We have 2 eclipses during this current Eclipse season: the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (on Sept. 7th-8th, 2025), and a Solar Eclipse in Virgo (on Sept. 21st).

The invitation is to build a bridge – to let the part of us that speaks in symbols and tides (Pisces) be in direct conversation with the part that schedules, crafts, and implements (Virgo).

Listen for the underlying message that runs through a weird dream, an overheard phrase, a random headline, or a chance encounter. When those threads repeat, you’re being guided toward the next piece of your story.

At this North Node Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, trust the dream enough to follow its thread, and trust yourself enough to let the life you live in secret spill over into the one you live in on a daily basis.

Each of us is a vessel for Source streaming and dreaming through us.

Inside the daily experience, it can be easy to forget how close we are to the divine.

But in truth, dreams and daily life run parallel to one another - like stacked dimensions. Maybe all we need to do is open the window between the realms - seeing and feeling our lives from the source of ultimate love that flows within us.

Eclipses happen through us. We are participants in this cosmic dance.

Pisces rules endings, forgiveness, and spiritual rebirth. Many will feel called to cleanse — emotionally, energetically, or even physically. Rituals of release, meditation, or symbolic acts of letting go are especially powerful under this eclipse

This Pisces Lunar Eclipse is not a quiet lunation — it is a tide pulling us away from what has expired, carrying us toward renewal. It asks for surrender, not resistance. It asks us to release the roles we’ve outgrown, and the stories that no longer define us.

Let this eclipse be a sacred pause: a time to grieve, to forgive, and to trust that endings create the necessary space for beginnings.

What you release under this Pisces Moon clears the way for the Virgo Solar Eclipse on September 21, when new, grounded seeds will be planted.

The message of the cosmos is simple yet profound. Soften into trust: what’s washing away was never meant to stay.

Within the Vedic worldview, September is a month of cosmic events, transformations, changes and big energy shifts. The sacred Vedic celebrations of Pitru Paksha and Navaratri occur.

Pitru Paksha begins with the full Moon on the 7th. This is a powerful 15 day lunar cycle that honours the ancestors.

Your ancestors gift you with your dharmic duty and thanking them for their guidance and blessings at this time is extremely potent.

In Vedic astrology, lunar eclipses occur when the Full Moon aligns with Rahu or Ketu. Rahu, the head of the celestial snake, bites the moon during this eclipse, darkening its light.

This lunar eclipse is in the area of the sky called Purva Bhadrapada, the star of spiritual fire. This nakshatra is symbolised by a burning funeral pyre that sets the soul free. The Purva Bhadrapada lunar eclipse can reveal and awaken the power to choose new paths.

As summer closes in the northern hemisphere and the equinox approaches (September 22nd), shadows grow longer and a spiritual portal opens on Earth. In this waning moon fortnight, the veil between the living and the spirit world grows thin.

This is a time to honour the dead and to remember, heal, and integrate the past.

Purva Bhadra is a constellation of integration, and balance. The ruling deity is Ajaikapada, a form of Shiva, Lord of the Dance. Bhadra means auspicious in Sanskrit, while pada is foot. There is an ability to walk in two worlds- material and spiritual- through this constellation.

As the waning Moon turns your focus inward, spirit will support your inner awareness more fully. This cycle will also support healing and transformation through the emotional body landscape. Let the light enter your heart.

In the coming days, it may feel like you have a foot in two worlds at times, but this is an essential part of your integration process. Work closely with balancing masculine and feminine energies as well as inner and outer realms.

Shiva asks you to simplify and do tapas to support purification.

This cycle prepares you for something new. Be prepared to let go, in order for the new to have space. A deep level of purification is taking place in the days ahead. Support this process and allow new resources to support you.

In the cycle ahead, attend to your grounding, inner and outer stability as well as your feet. Connect with the earth and find ways to deepen your roots. Find your ground and activate your inner intelligence. Pay attention to your feet and what they tell you about your grounding. Stay rooted.

The eclipse portal will close on September 21st with a solar eclipse and the beginning of Maha Navaratri.

From a Vedic perspective, it is not advised to be outside during an eclipse or to look directly at the eclipse taking place. Wear a head covering if you have to be outside so you don’t absorb the energy. Ideally, this is a time for spiritual practices such as meditation, chanting and fasting. Set intentions and honour the sensitivity of this time.

Use the two week Eclipse cycle for spiritual practices, rest, and retreat. Set intentions for the coming weeks and honour your self-care. Listen to your emotional body wisdom.

I invite you to co-create with this moment in time. Give yourself a chance to breathe. Take in life-force energy. Reconnect with the divine dream that is living itself as you…

We’re entering our marathon birthday week - 3 birthdays in our house in 5 days 🥳💫

We had the first celebration yesterday, for our very very nearly 9 year old, a party that was part circus 🎪 part roller disco and full with so much joy. Our eldest brought along a friend who is studying circus BTEC at at Bristol’s incredible Circomedia training school to run games, and then we turned on the disco lights and tried not to get run over by all the small people on wheels 😁

There’ll be several cakes this week and I try to keep things simple and interesting for us all! All the cakes will be gluten and dairy free so we can all join in with enjoying them. Usually I take photos of them all to document the cake marathon! But this time I got distracted and just remembered with the very last piece

This one was my favourite chocolate recipe, with plum jam from Nana’s garden, fresh plums and chocolate sauce on top. People often ask how I keep my gf cakes moist so I thought I’d share the recipe for this one with you all. I try to use everything organic and tend to reduce sugar from regular recipes

200g Doves Farm gf self raising flour
200g ground almonds
200g coconut blossom sugar
1x bar 70% dark chocolate Green & Blacks, melted with a little Rude Health almond mylk
1 tsp rose water
3 eggs
300ml olive oil
Plum jam for the filling
A handful of fresh plums for the top

Mix the dry ingredients, and blend the eggs, oil and sugar in a food mix or with a hand blender. Add the wet to the dry ingredients, and the melted chocolate, reserving a little for the topping. Chop the plums and add to the warm chocolate sauce so they soften a little.
Pour the mixture into two lined tins and bake at 170 (fan oven) for 30 minutes - check cakes by pressing lightly on the top - if they spring back they are cooked. Cool in the tins on a cooling rack, and then out of the tins. When cooled spread the jam on the bottom cake and pout the plum and chocolate sauce over the top layer - tadaa!

This one disappeared with licked fingers in about 10 minutes flat 😋

On September 7–8, 2025, the world will witness one of the most widely seen total lunar eclipses in history—with nearly 6 billion people able to experience this breathtaking celestial event!

The eclipse will last 5 hours and 27 minutes in total, featuring an extraordinary 82 minutes of totality, when the Moon will be fully immersed in Earth’s shadow. During this phase, it will glow in striking shades of deep red and copper—a mesmerizing Blood Moon spectacle.

Where will it be visible best?

Africa & Europe: The eclipse begins as the Moon rises, giving you the complete show in the evening sky.
Asia & Australia: Watch it late at night or in the early hours of September 8.
Pacific Islands: Excellent visibility across much of the Pacific.
Americas: Sadly, the eclipse won’t be visible here.

And here’s what makes it even more special—it happens just 2.6 days before perigee, when the Moon is closest to Earth. That means it will appear slightly larger and darker than usual—a rare Super Blood Moon!

Mark your calendars, hope for clear skies, and don’t miss this awe-inspiring moment that will unite stargazers across continents.

Home from a wholesome and hedonistic weekend at Shamabala festival, where my heart was cracked wide open and deep feelings of pain and sorrow sat alongside joy and abundance ✨
I read in a newsletter from Loren Lewis Cole recently, perhaps deepening is the expansion we’re chasing - and it felt like truth to me when I read those words, and I felt the truth of them again deep in my soul this weekend

Every day I joined my dear friend Rich to sing for Peace 🕊️ and I was reminded how peace can only exist externally when we are truly at peace within. The songs lifted my spirits and carried me through the moments of doubt and fear, and they still echo through my mind now that we are home

Behind our tent was a row of hawthorn trees dripping in perfectly ripe red berries, and every time I collected water from the tap next to them I could hear them calling me to make medicine for my heart, and the hearts of all those who are in my yoga herbal community ♥️
So before we left to bring our sweetly nourished and tenderised hearts home I gathered some berries, and now they sit in my kitchen gently steeping in organic apple cider vinegar. I give attention and gratitude to them every day ♥️ At the turning of the moon I’ll add raw honey to create a potent oxymel, and a few drops each day will provide deep nourishment for hearts and souls

Did you know that hawthorn offers its leaves, blossoms and berries as medicine for our hearts? Both the physical and the emotional structures of the heart benefit from this medicine of our land

I had two conversations this weekend that encouraged me to share my offerings again here - a dear soul who I hadn’t seen for a decade in person, but who shared with me that she found my offerings online so helpful and supportive 🙏🏽 and a talk with Kaz from Seed Sistas, who reminded me that I know enough to share with the world, that my work has value and importance. The voice that tells me to pipe down has been soothed and sushed and I’m here 🌹

It was beautiful to connect with the folk around me, so many who offer so much nourishment and wisdom in their own work.
Leeza Jessie my sweet camp neighbour
Matter Wholefoods nourishing our bellies with organic fruits and veg
Rose 🌹 whose hearts love always astounds me
Richard Lobb who brings such fun and care alongside songs of peace
Jenny Sanders who holds the most incredible vision for our children
Seed Sistas who brought the power, the mirth and the inspiration of herbal medicine
Alana’s Kitchen for a brief moment of connection and sisterhood
George Rose for the best hug and cheekiest laugh that made me warm all over
alexthetangerine, the most incredible human I have the joy of mothering

Thank you to the land

Thank you to the 🌙 new moon and the stars that watched over us all

Thank you Shambala
