We have our first New Moon of 2026 in Capricorn on January 18th initiating us into the emergence of our next passage at this place in time…

We are shedding our old societal vestments and the vestiges of limited perception in order to step more fully into our own divinely seeded potential…

The wise elder within us is gently guiding us to integrate what we have learned and to apply our new understandings so that can flow into this next phase …

This New Moon falls at the end of Capricorn season so this marks the fulcrum of completion of a certain chapter of our lives…
We have gained perspective and matured as a result of the recent experiences we have lived through and now can begin to move forward with more focused intentionality and purpose…

The year takes off as the New Moon of January 18th merges with a rare and volatile planetary alignment. An important and transformative cycle is beginning, with a momentous year of breakthroughs and a crossroads lies ahead.

This crossroads emerges under this unusual New Moon as five planets gather in sidereal Capricorn, creating a concentration of energy in Uttara Ashadha, a star of karmic destiny. Upheaval, restlessness, and indecision can ripple over the surface now, so try to slow down and take things one step at a time.

Uttara Ashadha star is symbolised by an elephant’s tusk and is called the star of later victory or the universal star. Linked to the elephant-headed god and remover of obstacles, Lord Ganesha, Uttara Ashadha has powerful resilience and determination to overcome difficulties over the long term.

Venus entering into Aquarius reminds us that we are collaborators in life and with life and when we join forces and share with each other we can create a much more vibrant and inclusive future...

Aquarian energies will help to propel this opening of our consciousness as we collectively begin to shift and integrate new ways of perceiving our reality…

With so much of our outer world in turbulence, we must remain grounded in our bodies and in our Earth so that we can receive the guidance that will begin to land right after this New Moon as the energies begin to shift…

This is not your usual New Moon. It may feel like an ā€œall hands on deckā€ lunation that interconnects every single layer of our life.

The geometry of this New Moon is spectacular.

If you are looking for a good moment to plant long-term seeds, this is it. It really doesn’t get more supportive than that. Keep in mind that New Moons are times of seeding - not manifestation.

The invitation here is to plan, design, and dream.

This is a truly threshold New Moon

Our ancestors knew how to align with the cycles of nature when making important decisions or starting new initiatives. Temples all around the world are based on solstices, equinoxes and other cycles to remind us.

And us – people who are interested in astrology – we have that extra advantage. We can see the timing. We can read the sky. We can choose our moments.

New Moons in general are good for planning and seeding. But if there’s one New Moon of the year that’s particularly good at planning and goal-setting, it’s the New Moon in Capricorn.
Capricorn helps us set goals that are ambitious, yet achievable – because unlike some other signs, Capricorn always has a plan. Not only intentions and wishful thinking – but concrete steps, structure, and a realistic path to actually get there.

Reading tea leaves, oracles, astrology – all forms of divination speak to the same thing: our attempt to understand the deeper mystery of life. Here, answers don’t come from linear logic, but from patterns, symbols, and connections. What matters is not the tool, but the ability to tap into a symbolic language – into the language of nature.

This New Moon in Capricorn arrives at a pivotal moment in the early days of the year. The initial rush of January has passed, and a steadier question comes into focus: What am I actually willing to commit to?

Capricorn energy doesn’t deal in wishful thinking. It asks for follow-through, integrity, and structures that can hold real life, not just ideal versions of it.

Under this lunation, you may feel a quiet but firm internal shift. This isn’t the loud motivation of New Year’s resolutions; it’s the deeper recognition of what you want to build long-term.

There’s added intensity on this day with Mercury conjunct Mars, sharpening thoughts, words, and decisions. Conversations may feel more direct than usual. You might notice impatience with ambiguity, avoidance, or half-truths; especially with yourself. This aspect supports decisive thinking and clear articulation, but it also asks for care: intention matters as much as action.

The day after the New Moon, the Sun enters Aquarius, shifting the tone from personal responsibility to collective vision. This timing is meaningful. Capricorn asks you to build a solid foundation; Aquarius asks what that foundation is for.

Eclipse season begins to open at the beginning of February.

This New Moon is not part of an eclipse season, but that’s actually a gift. There’s less external chaos and more room for conscious choice.

Think of it as a grounding point…a place to steady yourself before the year accelerates. What you commit to now becomes a reference point for the months ahead.

In India, this New Moon is celebrated as Mauni Amavasya, ā€œthe dark moon of silence.ā€ Traditionally, a vow of silence is taken at this time to allow the subtle sound of higher guidance to be heard. Listen deeply now—silence holds the key to awakening.

Light the candle and sit quietly. Let your body settle and your breath slow. Contemplate the following:
o What am I willing to commit to in my life right now?
o What am I no longer available to carry?
Notice which commitment feels steady rather than aspirational.
Choose one commitment that feels realistic, meaningful, and sustainable. Ask yourself what you can commit to and why.

Now consider what is one simple structure that would help this commitment endure? Perhaps a boundary, a ritual, a rhythm ….. what is it that supports your commitment? Choose a time within the coming week that might support you in this. You do not need to plan everything, simply anchor in your commitment. Speak to your heart - ā€œI stand behind this choice and trust myself to uphold it.ā€

Crossing the threshold together into the dreaming ...

New moon solstice love šŸ’—
20/12/2025

New moon solstice love šŸ’—

We have a New Moon rising in Sagittarius on December 19th, which is asking us to stretch our vision so that we can allow the embodied integration of both our human and spirit natures… This New Moon in Sagittarius arrives at a late degree rich with potential for endings, beginnings, and fresh horizons. Sagittarius energy is big, bold, and oriented toward meaning…what you believe, where you go, and how you grow.

Under this lunation, you’re invited to set intentions that align with your higher truth, broaden your perspective, and expand into the next level of your purpose.

This is more than ā€œstarting something newā€. It’s about orienting toward what truly matters.

With the Sun and Moon square Neptune and Saturn at the last degrees of Pisces, this New Moon is an altar to honour our trust.

Neptune dissolves what we once relied on for reassurance. Old dreams, identities, teachers, and promises may feel less solid than they once did.

Saturn asks us to take responsibility for our own faith. To commit not to fantasy, but to what is lived, practiced, and embodied.

Faith is not certainty. Faith is an orientation.

We are in a cycle of powerful uprooting, release and transformation. Sun, Moon and Mars are navigating a cosmic knot. In the coming cycle, all parts of us are impacted by this uprooting and process of transformation - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This process continues through late January.

You may notice that big life changes are taking place.

As the Sun and Moon unite in Sagittarius, you may feel a stirring inside: a want for more—more freedom, more meaning, more vision. But the power of this moment lies in pairing that stirring with clarity. What you begin now has a momentum that lasts because it’s rooted in integrity, not just excitement.

The fire of Sagittarius seeks direction; it asks you to aim your arrow with intention. Use this moment to craft a vision that matches your values, your truth, and your next step, not just your next leap. This New Moon in Sagittarius asks you to expand your truth and step into purpose not sometime soon, but now. Align your vision with your values. Let your next chapter be less about ā€œwhat’s nextā€ and more about ā€œwhat will matter.ā€ Plant your intent clearly, move with sincerity, and watch how your path opens when your aim is true.

The medicine for the next two months is ā€œback to bodyā€. Stay close to your body and breath. Live close to your heart.

There is so much to receive and digest and allow to become the medicine that carries nutrients to forming the new skin that is beneath what we have been shedding…

As the calendar comes to a close this month, it is a poignant time for reflection and digestion. Pause and acknowledge the past twelve months of growth and learning. What feels important as you move forward with your one, precious life?

This New Moon arrives just days before the sacred portal of Winter Solstice. In the northern hemisphere, this is the darkest point, the longest night, and the shortest day of the year. Since time immemorial, cultures across the world have marked this turning point as a sacred energetic reset for the sun.

The winter Solstice marks the moment when the sun reaches its lowest point. From here, the light slowly begins its slow ascent and return. In the Vedic tradition, this is called Uttaryanana. The six months between the winter and summer solstices are considered to be a single day for the gods, making the winter solstice the dawning of a new divine day.

This New Moon falls in Mula Nakshatra, the Root Star. Mula is symbolised by a tied-up bunch of roots, what is tangled underground. It’s also connected with the Muladhara Chakra, the grounding centre of life, our instincts, and our deepest attachments. This New Moon can uproot what’s under the surface of awareness and allow for change.

Mula is ruled by the goddess Nirriti, a destructive form of Maha Kali. She governs dissolution and endings. However, what has been reduced to ash by her becomes fertile ground for rebirth.

If something in your life has been unravelling, this New Moon asks you to look again. Where something is breaking apart, a deeper meaning may emerge.

This is a powerful time for meditation and spiritual practices.

Clearing and releasing lingering emotions from the past cycle will create space for the new, opening you to more life force in the months ahead.

What needs to be cleared and released? What is undigested from the previous year? What are you making space for in your life?
We can learn to become more fluid in our willingness to let go and move into a place of discovery…

discovery of? what actually nourishes us : which may be quite different from what has brought us comfort in the past…

and we might also discover a deep sensorial knowing of what has always been here, in depths of our awareness, in our bones, in our cellular memory and part of our collective inheritance….

This is a journey we can’t take with our minds, even as we reach for information to make sense of things, we must tune into our bodies and bring our precious awareness to the field within…

We are needing new foundations, deeper rooting into fertile ground...

This New Moon invites you to become both architect and explorer of your life.

It’s time to plant seeds of truth, set out on the map you’ve written inwardly, and trust your compass.

Maybe life is teaching you just how much you do not know.
Maybe life is illustrating the malleability of ā€˜reality.’
Maybe life is demonstrating that in order to grow well, you must become more attuned to the spiritual worlds while remaining fully embodied in the physical.

This New Moon is the beginning of a journey towards expansion. Set your sights on a new vision. Write a new story.

And so on this last New Moon of 2025...
let's whisper a prayer into the Earth and into our bodies, to deepen our love, our appreciation and our devotion to our vessels that hold us through time...

Light the candles. Make your offerings. Live into your prayers.

With all my love ....

Dear hearts šŸ’•

You are invited to an intimate herbal sauna experience to mark the winter solstice ā„ļø this Wednesday 17th December, 7.30-9.30pm at Hart Sauna in fishponds.

This special evening will be held with plant allies Blue Lotus 🪷 and Mugwort 🌿 to help us enter the dreaming space that the Solstice brings.

The people of this land have long practiced the art of winter dreaming, with story, song and candlelight through the darker days.
The winter solstice holds a particular invitation to support our pineal gland, which allows for integration of all that is present within us at this point in time; a little portal for our own personal system reboot. Blue Lotus is a wonderful source of support for this 🪷

A blessed new moon šŸŒ™

A blessed new moon šŸŒ™

A New Moon in Scorpio on 19th November 2025 reveals truth hidden within the depths of our inner worlds.

Sun, Moon and Mercury are in exact conjunction at 28o Scorpio.

Scorpio New Moon is here to deliver a message. Mercury was the one who could travel freely between worlds. Called the ā€˜messenger of the Gods’ and the ā€˜guide of Souls’ – we are receiving messages and transmissions from our Soul.

Then there is Uranus, like a flash of lightening or an illumination that awakens us towards deeper truth. Awakenings and revelations rise from the depths, as this New Moon reveals what’s been hidden and allows old patterns to clear.

This new moon falls in Anuradha nakshatra, the ā€œstar of success.ā€
Anuradha brings success through cooperation with others and is ruled by Mitra, an ancient Vedic god of friendship. Symbolised by a fragrant lotus flower that rises out of the mud, this New Moon can heal and establish new trust in relationships.

Lots of mind and nervous system energy comes with this New Moon. Researching, editing, organising past dreams and projects. Clearing our space and belongings. As well as old memories.

Go easy, go slow, pace yourself.

A current of luck and divine grace is increasing in the weeks to come as bright and exalted Jupiter gazes at both Saturn and this New Moon. This beneficial aspect supports education, work and building sustainable structures in your life.

We can sip deep of emotional renewal, transformation, and personal power. Scorpio is the sign of alchemy, endings that become beginnings, shadows that turn into strengths.

Under this lunation, clarity often comes through honesty: the kind that asks us to confront what’s hidden, release what’s toxic, and make peace with what we’ve outgrown.

This is a potent moment for setting intentions rooted in our emotional truth.

Scorpio energy asks for depth, not surface-level change. If you’ve been carrying old fears, resentments, or attachments, this New Moon invites you to compost them into wisdom. In doing so, you make space for something more aligned to take root, like intimacy, empowerment, or a new sense of direction that feels truly authentic.

The day after this lunation, the Sun enters Sagittarius, shifting the tone from introspection to expansion. Where Scorpio asks you to dig deep, Sagittarius opens the horizon, helping you find meaning and faith in what’s next. Together, these energies remind you that real transformation doesn’t end in the dark, it ends in illumination.

This New Moon encourages you to trust your ability to start again from a place of inner strength.
• What truth will set me free?

• What part of myself is ready to be reborn?

• How can I turn past suffering into deeper wisdom or purpose?

• What does emotional honesty look like for me right now?

This New Moon is delicate, deep, and transformational. Slow down so you allow the depth of digestion to take place in body and life.

Our emotional body is more intuitive and clairvoyant if the channels are open to receive insight. Renewal and rebirth are taking place. This requires deep transformation internally.

This cycle is best used for rest and contemplation. Think before you act and don’t make rash decisions you may regret later.

Scorpio is the sign of death, endings, loss, and serious life challenges.

Transform, release, let go. Digest emotions, listen to your body wisdom, and use your powerful instincts. Rely on your inner wisdom, instead of physical strength.

What body part is getting this illumination? Pay attention, stay curious, and ask your body to share its messages with you.

In the coming cycle, find a new balance point. Redefine what depth means for you. Use the storms to cleanse you. Plant your inner seeds and find your ground. Unify and strengthen your inner power. Let Spirit be a guiding force for your higher purpose. Clear away the rubble and clarify your path and purpose. Transform your darkness into light.

We cannot know what comes next. The future can’t be known - it can only be created. Lived into. It emerges from the momentary choices we make and the thoughts we think. It hinges on the quality of our awareness, our relationship with what is, and our ability to allow vital energy to flow through channels and systems.

Take your place in the world as a simple Self. An individual with a willingness to not know but to wonder, and to extend a kind of flexible, responsive certainty that is appropriate for the renaissance we find ourselves in.

Being less sure is an opening for the growing of faith…

Live your simplicity

Crossing the threshold into the realms of liminality... these times have been seen and felt by our ancestors since the beginning of time as the period when we look back and remember...

We may feel nostalgia for days gone by, to all the people we have known and loved and to all the many lives we have lived within our time and space here ...

We are in a potent period of transmutation, cradled within the depths of Scorpio. An earthly and otherworldly transformation moment.

We are called to travel in deeper into the cavernous abodes that nourish our senses, that calm our bodies and dissolve our entanglements.

The land holds the secrets of wholeness and worth that restore and return us home...

This Full Moon in Ta**us on 5th November 2025 is illuminating the themes of stability, self-worth, and integrity. Ta**us energy invites us to embody our worth and live from that place.
How does it feel to be living on the edge?

For so long now, it has seemed that one version of the world is crumbling. Falling apart. Dying away. 2020 changed the existing order.
In 2025, the vapours of illusion burn off as the heat of a new era rises.
Life seems to be hanging by a fragile thread.
In this time of transition, it is easy to drift untethered.

The chaos in the world can be creative - if we hold in to our hearts.

2026 is a year we have been collectively anticipating since everything shifted in 2020. It contains the rarest alignments.

Break free from Stagnation.
The climate feels wild, combustive, and unpredictable. Can you trust more fully in not-knowing?
Hold your knowledge with continued curiosity.
Dare to tolerate differences.
Have the wisdom to question your perceptions and continually seek more understanding.
Release what has become rigid and stuck to make way for peace, beauty, and unification.
Under this lunation, you’re asked to stand firmly in what you offer, to recognise the value you bring, and to let your actions reflect the principles you live by.

This is a moment to check in with your core values: are your choices, work, and relationships aligned with what you truly stand for?

The Ta**us–Scorpio axis asks us to balance the tangible and the emotional, what we own and what we share.

This Full Moon sheds light on where you’ve outgrown old definitions of security or success and invites you to ground yourself in authenticity.

You may find yourself taking stock — assessing how stable your foundations feel, and how rooted your worth is. Ta**us teaches that true security is never built on rapid change but on sustained presence, patience, and trust in your own process.

The invitation is to slow down, trust what you’ve built, and embody the quiet confidence of knowing your worth.

• Integrity in Action
• Grounded Growth

This epic supermoon is the sacred Kartika Purnima, one of the most spiritually-charged full moons. Its radiant light can reach the darkest corners of the world and the human psyche, illuminating and healing the heart. In India, Kartika Purnima is the day when Lord Shiva.

This Full Moon is also celebrated as Dev Diwali in the holy city of Varanasi, where thousands of oil lamps are lit along the riverbanks. This year, those lights will extend into the heavens, as the Southern Taurids meteor shower reaches its peak under the full moon’s brilliance.

In Vedic astrology, the Full Moon falls in Bharani, the sacred star of the womb. Bharani represents the divine feminine life force and the power of nature to heal and renew itself.

Bharani full moon is ruled by Yama, the god of death, who guides departed souls toward rebirth. Under this star, endings and beginnings merge, and what dies becomes the nourishment for what is to come.

Life and death are intimately intertwined and Bharani nakshatra reminds us of this. The va**na is a powerful creative force and is connected to the strength of the Divine Feminine, as well as all female bodies. The birthing process is an act of transformation, release, death and new beginnings.

What are you birthing in your life?

A re-birthing arrives with this cycle.

Notice what is being supported and what is not. It’s time to make some choices about where you want to go, and what you want to create for your life. If you aren’t getting the support of Natural Law that you want and need, you need to redirect and pivot.

This Ta**us Super Full Moon aches with the beauty of it all...
Life in all of its complexity, its beauty and its strife, is a cup for us to hold sacred...
these times are very busy, our days are filled with activities
Let's find our flow within the movement and find our stillness within the motion...
And when our busy days are done, let's sit by candlelight or linger under the moonlight and allow the season to hold us and bring us to a place of grace...

Autumn šŸ‚ a moment in time

This morning I tried to capture the incredible light that shone from within and around this tree, the glow of autumn.

I walked with my friend Leti, our favourite morning stomp through the woods. We share a practice of walking together, talking about life, sowing seeds of future plans, stopping to gaze in wonder as our woods, our trees, transform right in front of our eyes

Leti is from Brazil šŸ‡§šŸ‡· years ago, as a student, I visited Brazil and one of the things I learned deep in my heart was the lesson of saudade, the heart longing ā™„ļø this morning we talked of autumn as saudade, a brief moment, almost just one breath and then gone šŸ‚

I keep thinking, no feeling, that the colours of autumn are gifted to us as the way to transition from summer to winter - being outside, bathing ourselves in the glorious colours, feeds us on such a deep level that we are nourished enough to hold ourselves through the winter months. Knowing that nature loves us enough to gift us this moment of glorious beauty. Holding us steady so that we are resourced to carry on doing the work that is needed

Holding ourselves, releasing what is past, the exhale

Autumn love šŸ
