We have a Full Moon in Scorpio growing into her fullness this week and blooming on May 1st… known as the Flower Moon, this is the first of two Full Moons in May, with the second one on May 31st which will be a Blue Moon … 1st and 31st, like bookends.

A Moon that reveals a secret, a truth or a deeper knowing that holds the key to our transformation and our evolutionary path forward…

We are moving into new landscape, feeling the changes within us as our collective consciousness shifts and so it’s important for us to stay open to seeing what the path forward is so that we may follow the new trails… we can see further, vision opens up, and get glimpses of the ripe fruits of possibility.

It is said that the Buddha became enlightened under a Scorpio Full Moon during Ta**us season.

Expanded consciousness is all around us now and we can see it as a stream of pure white light that is cleansing our lenses of perception and enlivening our mental streams with new currents and higher frequencies…

It is also Beltane, May Day festival that marks the midway point between the Equinox and the Solstice.

Beltane means “bright fire” and fire has always played a central symbolic role at Beltane, not only as a source of light and warmth, but as a powerful agent of renewal…

Through the flow of change, only change itself is constant. What is true? Set down what is not real.

The Full Moon offers a much-needed breath of fresh air, clearing blocked energy channels. It’s a Full Moon for brainstorming, sharing stories, and co-creating a better vision of the future.

According to Vedic astrology, the Full Moon falls in Swati nakshatra, an area of the sky connected to the power of the wind. Known as “the young sprout blowing in the wind,” Swati is a star that symbolises the resilience of life and the force of pranic channels to sustain life. A few minutes of conscious breathing can soften the mind, steady the emotions, and reconnect you with your deeper intentions on this Full Moon.

Swati Full Moon is ruled by Vayu, the Vedic god of wind, and carries the shakti to scatter seeds and ideas with the wind. Under this Full Moon, a powerful current of life energy can carry prayers and intentions far and wide. Meditation, chanting, and pranayama practices are especially potent now.

This Full Moon is also celebrated as Buddha Purnima, the day of enlightenment of Lord Buddha under the sacred Bodhi tree. The Buddha taught liberation through steady awareness, discipline of the mind, and the clear light of inner seeing.

In Vedic Astrology, Mercury is called Buddha, a name related to buddhi, the faculty of intelligence, discernment, and awareness.

This is a good time for holy wishes, study and vision quests.

Jupiter’s aspect (dristi) gives this Full Moon a sense of grace and possibility.

Tension, fatigue, or the feeling of pushing through resistance is also part of a process of now.

Swati Full Moon teaches that real strength is not rigid but flexible and adaptable. By bending with and allowing the unseen currents of life to flow through us, we become stronger.

You may find yourself seeing something clearly that you’ve known for a while but haven’t fully acknowledged. This Moon makes what’s already true easier to recognise and acknowledge.

Scorpio is the sign of transformation. It asks what needs to be released so something more honest can take its place.

This Full Moon can feel intense, but it has a purpose: to help you see what’s ready to change.

Scorpio wants depth, honesty, and evolution. Full Moon in Ta**us Sun may show you where you’ve been holding onto something because it feels safe, even if it no longer feels true.

If you feel an urge to rush decisions, pause. This is simply a moment to recognise what has shifted internally, so your external life can begin to reflect it. Not a Moon to rush in.

Let this Moon remind you that lasting transformation begins with truth. What rises now is here to free energy that has been tied up in avoidance, fear, or protection.

The more willing you are to meet yourself truthfully, the more spacious your next chapter becomes.

Collectively, this Full Moon activates the archetype of The Alchemist.

Key Energies to Work With
• Emotional Truth
• Release & Letting Go
• Trust & Vulnerability
• Transformation Through Awareness
• What am I ready to let go of?

Scorpio is an alchemical sign. Alchemy, as in transforming base materials into potions, tonics, and elixirs. As in warming liquid to a simmer and burning off the impurities, refining the contents.

Scorpio summons intensity. Deep feelings. Underground essences.

This is the close and invisible realm of intimacy, ancestors, and entanglements. The place where lifeblood is given and taken.

What’s been residing in the shadows comes out of hiding.

Under this Moon, may revelry and revelations take root.

New Moon in Aries on April 17th 2026 and energies feel intense. you can feel it. This New Moon is a Fire walk. This is a first. Never in our lifetime have we encountered so many heavenly bodies clustered in Aries. More than a brave beginning, this is a call to action. It is time to take initial steps in the direction of the life that awaits you…

We are in a time where things are unravelling so that we can gaze behind the veil to understand what has shaped us and what we've needed to see and understand about ourselves and our own true nature...

We are being called to reach for our higher spiritual vision with faith in the cosmic unfoldment of things and trust in what we cannot control...

We can deepen into our faith and trust as we practice patience, especially during this time where there is a sense of heightened urgency in the air... it is vital to listen to our bodies and take good care of ourselves... to soothe our nervous systems.

In this way we return to Self, which is a message of this Moon
This is a time to plant seeds and align with those deeply held dreams that our Soul has been carrying inside...

There are things we came here to do, experience and to create

Take the Lead in Your Own Life

Aries is the sign of beginnings, action, and self-leadership. When a New Moon lands here, it doesn’t gently suggest change… it initiates it.

There is a forward pull, a sense that something is ready to begin, whether or not you feel fully prepared.

What makes this lunation especially potent is the amount of Aries energy in the sky right now.

We may feel the urge to move quickly, decide quickly, or act quickly, less willing to stay in situations that no longer feel true.

There is less tolerance for confusion, delay.

Be mindful. Aries energy moves quickly. Direct your energy wisely. This is where intention matters.

What you start now has energy behind it, so it’s worth asking: Is this aligned with who I am becoming, or just my reaction to my discomfort?

This New Moon falls in the area of the sky called Ashwini, the first of the 27 Vedic nakshatras. Ashwini is linked to travel, speed, and movement and carries strong life-force or prana. It supports healing and the clearing of stagnation, both physical and emotional.

This New Moon can help reset your energy, clear blocked channels, and restore balance.

Ashwini New Moon is a time to step forward with care, consider what needs healing, and recover what is essential. Clear away the old and let the past go; a new cycle is being born.

This New Moon invites you to choose yourself—in a grounded, self-led way. To take one clear step forward that reflects your truth, even if the full path isn’t visible yet.

• What am I ready to start, even if I don’t feel fully ready?
• What action feels aligned—not urgent, not pressured—but true?
• What does choosing myself actually look like in practice?

It is a vulnerable time.

It feels like the very fabric of existence is shifting, and internal and external realities are going through a kind of recalibration. The paradigm we used to know has come to an end. Though much confusion and ambivalence is now clearing, personal sensitivity is still high.

This new life is tender.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
- Anais Nin

This Moon brings a fresh start - but not a clean slate.

To move forward, summon your life force energy into yourself. Bring healing.

Confront imbalance. Overcome dependency. Face friction and forge a deeper spiritual will.

Reclaim your light.

Full moon blessings 🌸

We move into APRIL and begin with our Pink Full Moon in Libra on the 1st, bringing our focus to all our relations…

We stand at a crossroads, at the frequency of 4, choosing the foundations for our future… this is an edge of destiny we are stepping through

right now there are significant chapters closing as new doors are opening…

and for some this might be a ritual of releasing because it requires that we no longer keep going in the same way as before…

and as we are moving through this space of liminality, we are emerging and realising that we are different now…

we learn about reciprocity and the necessity of giving and receiving and about communication as the most important conduit that bridges and connects us to each other…

peace is paramount for Libra, but not a peace at all costs

The Full Moon in Libra is for recalibrating relationships.

This Moon has a fierce grace – this is the price of peace

With Saturn and Neptune now firmly in Aries, we are experiencing a new beginning. We are moving differently.

Aries delivers us into a fresh start.

We are determining our direction. Departing from the version we have been and stepping into who we are becoming.

This Moon is a moment to find fairness.
Meet in the middle.
Negotiate right-relationship.
Come back into balance.
Even in this time of transition, we can reach for beauty, harmony, equilibrium.

We can choose to walk our peace.

The Full Moon of April 1st brings in a courageous push and a realignment toward a higher vision. This Full Moon coincides with Hanuman Jayanti, the celebration of the birth of the monkey god, Lord Hanuman, whose strength, courage, and devotion symbolise the triumph of dharma in times of darkness.

This is a full moon for stepping up.

The Full Moon falls in the area of the sky called Hasta Nakshatra, which is symbolised by a hand. The golden-handed Savitur, a deity of the rising sun, reigns over this moon.

This Full Moon in Libra is a culmination point. It brings to the surface what has been building over the past six months, especially in the Libra area of your chart.

Libra is often associated with balance, but this Moon reminds us that balance is not something static. Sometimes Libra energy samples extremes before it can settle into a sweet spot.

This is a powerful moment to ask yourself whether your version of “balance” is actually creating peace or simply helping you avoid discomfort.

Because Jupiter is involved, this moon also brings up faith.

Trust in your inner compass, trust your timing, trust life.

Things are still gathering momentum, and the deeper ask here is not to push harder, but to rest, recalibrate, and reconnect with what you actually believe in.

This is not a Moon for rushing. It is a Moon for noticing what needs to be released so that relationship, clarity, and movement can happen from a deeper place.

Wishing you your sweet spot

Menopause and Your Brain

Menopause isn’t just hot flushes, night sweats, or “losing your mind.” It’s a neurological transition — one that affects memory, mood, sleep, and stress regulation. Studies show that brain regions like the hippocampus and anterior cingulate cortex can change during this time, and these changes are being linked to dementia. And the media are suggesting that HRT will be the saviour!

Yes, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) treats symptoms. Doses of oestrogen can ease hot flushes, improve sleep, and stabilise mood. Many Women feel better. But fast relief doesn’t mean long-term rewiring. HRT doesn’t magically protect the brain from ageing or reverse the neurological effects of menopause.

That’s where slower, systemic support comes in. Nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management, and lifestyle practices don’t give instant hits. They work over time, supporting the nervous system, stabilising neurotransmitters, and improving resilience. These approaches work with your body, helping your brain and nervous system adapt more smoothly to hormonal change.

Menopause is not an illness. It’s a natural endocrine transition. Yet much of the research, messaging, and even pharmaceutical framing positions it as a problem to be fixed — a deficiency state begging for a prescription. Understanding the science, who funds it, and how it’s presented helps women make informed choices, rather than just following the loudest marketing.

Menopause deserves clarity, honesty, and strategies that work with the body, not against it.

We have our first New Moon of 2026 in Capricorn on January 18th initiating us into the emergence of our next passage at this place in time…

We are shedding our old societal vestments and the vestiges of limited perception in order to step more fully into our own divinely seeded potential…

The wise elder within us is gently guiding us to integrate what we have learned and to apply our new understandings so that can flow into this next phase …

This New Moon falls at the end of Capricorn season so this marks the fulcrum of completion of a certain chapter of our lives…
We have gained perspective and matured as a result of the recent experiences we have lived through and now can begin to move forward with more focused intentionality and purpose…

The year takes off as the New Moon of January 18th merges with a rare and volatile planetary alignment. An important and transformative cycle is beginning, with a momentous year of breakthroughs and a crossroads lies ahead.

This crossroads emerges under this unusual New Moon as five planets gather in sidereal Capricorn, creating a concentration of energy in Uttara Ashadha, a star of karmic destiny. Upheaval, restlessness, and indecision can ripple over the surface now, so try to slow down and take things one step at a time.

Uttara Ashadha star is symbolised by an elephant’s tusk and is called the star of later victory or the universal star. Linked to the elephant-headed god and remover of obstacles, Lord Ganesha, Uttara Ashadha has powerful resilience and determination to overcome difficulties over the long term.

Venus entering into Aquarius reminds us that we are collaborators in life and with life and when we join forces and share with each other we can create a much more vibrant and inclusive future...

Aquarian energies will help to propel this opening of our consciousness as we collectively begin to shift and integrate new ways of perceiving our reality…

With so much of our outer world in turbulence, we must remain grounded in our bodies and in our Earth so that we can receive the guidance that will begin to land right after this New Moon as the energies begin to shift…

This is not your usual New Moon. It may feel like an “all hands on deck” lunation that interconnects every single layer of our life.

The geometry of this New Moon is spectacular.

If you are looking for a good moment to plant long-term seeds, this is it. It really doesn’t get more supportive than that. Keep in mind that New Moons are times of seeding - not manifestation.

The invitation here is to plan, design, and dream.

This is a truly threshold New Moon

Our ancestors knew how to align with the cycles of nature when making important decisions or starting new initiatives. Temples all around the world are based on solstices, equinoxes and other cycles to remind us.

And us – people who are interested in astrology – we have that extra advantage. We can see the timing. We can read the sky. We can choose our moments.

New Moons in general are good for planning and seeding. But if there’s one New Moon of the year that’s particularly good at planning and goal-setting, it’s the New Moon in Capricorn.
Capricorn helps us set goals that are ambitious, yet achievable – because unlike some other signs, Capricorn always has a plan. Not only intentions and wishful thinking – but concrete steps, structure, and a realistic path to actually get there.

Reading tea leaves, oracles, astrology – all forms of divination speak to the same thing: our attempt to understand the deeper mystery of life. Here, answers don’t come from linear logic, but from patterns, symbols, and connections. What matters is not the tool, but the ability to tap into a symbolic language – into the language of nature.

This New Moon in Capricorn arrives at a pivotal moment in the early days of the year. The initial rush of January has passed, and a steadier question comes into focus: What am I actually willing to commit to?

Capricorn energy doesn’t deal in wishful thinking. It asks for follow-through, integrity, and structures that can hold real life, not just ideal versions of it.

Under this lunation, you may feel a quiet but firm internal shift. This isn’t the loud motivation of New Year’s resolutions; it’s the deeper recognition of what you want to build long-term.

There’s added intensity on this day with Mercury conjunct Mars, sharpening thoughts, words, and decisions. Conversations may feel more direct than usual. You might notice impatience with ambiguity, avoidance, or half-truths; especially with yourself. This aspect supports decisive thinking and clear articulation, but it also asks for care: intention matters as much as action.

The day after the New Moon, the Sun enters Aquarius, shifting the tone from personal responsibility to collective vision. This timing is meaningful. Capricorn asks you to build a solid foundation; Aquarius asks what that foundation is for.

Eclipse season begins to open at the beginning of February.

This New Moon is not part of an eclipse season, but that’s actually a gift. There’s less external chaos and more room for conscious choice.

Think of it as a grounding point…a place to steady yourself before the year accelerates. What you commit to now becomes a reference point for the months ahead.

In India, this New Moon is celebrated as Mauni Amavasya, “the dark moon of silence.” Traditionally, a vow of silence is taken at this time to allow the subtle sound of higher guidance to be heard. Listen deeply now—silence holds the key to awakening.

Light the candle and sit quietly. Let your body settle and your breath slow. Contemplate the following:
o What am I willing to commit to in my life right now?
o What am I no longer available to carry?
Notice which commitment feels steady rather than aspirational.
Choose one commitment that feels realistic, meaningful, and sustainable. Ask yourself what you can commit to and why.

Now consider what is one simple structure that would help this commitment endure? Perhaps a boundary, a ritual, a rhythm ….. what is it that supports your commitment? Choose a time within the coming week that might support you in this. You do not need to plan everything, simply anchor in your commitment. Speak to your heart - “I stand behind this choice and trust myself to uphold it.”

Crossing the threshold together into the dreaming ...
