Today marks the start of Hydration Week, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of staying well hydrated for our health and wellbeing. Drinking enough water supports concentration, energy levels, digestion, and overall physical health.

To celebrate Hydration Week, we are making fruit-infused water. Adding fresh fruit to water is a fun and appealing way to encourage drinking more fluids. We recently enjoyed a special visit from Elvis Presley (David Jordan), and everyone appeared to thoroughly enjoy the performance. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with music, singing, and plenty of smiles.

This week, we have also welcomed three work experience students who have been a great help around the home. They have been assisting with cleaning, taking part in activities with the residents, and helping to serve refreshments on the tea trolley. Their support and enthusiasm have been greatly appreciated by both staff and residents alike.
