At Compass House, we really value all the feedback we receive — both the positive comments and the suggestions for improvement.

Recently, we’ve had some feedback about the music played on our phone system and in our waiting areas, and we wanted to take a moment to explain.

🎵 Telephone Hold Music

Unfortunately, we’re unable to change the hold music on our phone system. This is due to technical limitations, specific audio format requirements, and copyright restrictions set by our phone service provider — it’s not something we can alter locally.

🎶 Music in Our Reception Area

The music in our reception area is there for an important reason — to help protect patient privacy. It provides a level of background noise that ensures any sensitive or confidential conversations between patients and our care coordinators remain private.
We know that music is a very personal preference, and while we try to choose something neutral that will appeal to most people, we appreciate it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

We hope this helps explain why things are set up the way they are. As always, we appreciate your feedback and understanding.

🌿 Virtual HOPE Programme – Supporting people living with Chronic Oedema 🌿

If you’re living with chronic oedema or lymphoedema, this free six-week online programme offers a chance to focus on your wellbeing in a relaxed and friendly setting.

You’ll meet others with shared experiences, learn helpful self-management tools, and have the space to reflect on what’s important to you. Many people finish the course feeling more confident and supported.
