📞 New Phone System Launching 1 April
On 1 April we’re introducing a new phone system.
You said:
• Waiting on hold is frustrating
• You can’t see where you are in the queue
We’ve listened.
👉 The biggest change? You’ll now be able to hang up and keep your place in the queue.
✔ Get updates on your position
✔ Track it in real time via a link to your phone
✔ We’ll call you back when it’s your turn
➡️ Please use the call-back option where possible as it will save you waiting on hold.
What stays the same?
You can still call us as normal, just listen out for the new menu options as they will change.
This is part of our ongoing work to improve access and communication, alongside Rapid Health which we launched in January.
We know contacting your GP matters, especially when you need us most. These changes are about making that experience easier, clearer, and less frustrating.
