Natural Tai Chi Devon teaches Yang style Taiji and Qigong as taught to me by my teacher Wang Zhi Xiang whose lineage, through his teachers Wang Zhuan Hong and Dong Bin can be traced back to Yang Chen Fu. A fundamental principle in our style of Taiji is the use of mind and energy not physical strength. By drawing on Taiji principles that teach us how to use our bodies the way nature intended, to relax and 'let go' rather than 'add on'; we learn to transform and open the body to feel its energetic and flowing movement.

Yang style Tai Chi is the most popular Tai Chi taught world-wide; and the Yang style 12 Form is the perfect introduction to the slow, gentle movements and relaxed, rhythmic breathing practised in Tai Chi.

The practise of Tai Chi is an excellent way to improve health and fitness and develop and maintain a strong and vital body. Practice of the 12 Form will also give you you a useful foundation into the postures and movements of Tai Chi should you wish to learn longer Yang-style forms.

Regular practice of Tai Chi can:
