I only recommend Hearach Memorials in Inverness they are one of the closest memorial manufacturers to Skye as we don’t have one on Skye itself.
I don’t just recommend them because they are close I do so because they are amongst the best in the business to the point where I personally have had my own memorial erected even though I am still blessed to be still on this earth . It is blank and a few people have asked what I would put on it if I had the choice , I thought hard about it and eventually came up with something that I hope is true
“ He served his communities “ but in the end it won’t be my decision .

His family filmed it and gave me permission to share it with you all Something a bit different , we will always try to cater for all requests .

The family of the late Megan Mackenzie would like to thank everyone for the love and kindness shown to them upon the sad passing of the much loved Megan .
The collection at the funeral amounted to £2723.50p which the family are donating to Skye Cancer care and Macmillan Suite Broadford

Direct cremations are becoming more and more popular these days
We do many direct cremations , some have a service on Skye in a church or a village hall etc some don’t but every one of them that we do is carried out at Inverness crematorium , our local crematorium . I am posting this as someone at a funeral asked me why direct cremations are not done at Inverness. This is simply not true , Inverness has always carried out direct cremations .
