Helping clients achieve their goals: whether that's to starve off those stiff joints in the mornings, or complete that series of five with flow and grace. I've taught fitness in some shape or form for 31 years now...never a dull day.

Of course we love this quote from England Rugby player George Ford in The Guardian 💙

“In recent months, I’ve been doing a lot more pilates. I know that sounds funny but what it has done to help my hip, my back, my kicking, everything has been great. We feel as rugby ­players we’re strong. When you’re in the gym you can lift weights and stuff but that has exposed a few areas in terms of weaknesses. I wish I’d have started it a bit earlier.”

A wonderful new home Reformer studio is open in the South of Skye (nearly South...Sconcer to be precise).
Having learnt the Pilates method on the mat, she has ventured onto the Pilates Apparatus.
Marcelina Chabel - Coghill is a highly qualified, diligent teacher, who's eye for technical form is exceptional!!!

Something missing in alot of the 'fitness/strength Reformer teachers' out there 😞

Finally, I'm a Level 4 Pilates Teacher.

I lost count of how many times I dropped out of my studies for this qualification over the 3 year period.
This was due to periods of self-doubt, having a full-time job, and suffering the loss of my mum just after completing the first paper, which left me in a strange head space.
I eventually went back to it, not because clients requested it, but for my own personal growth.
I shall be walking about throughout the day with a smile on my face. I think my mum would have been proud of me that I saw it through.
Thank you to those who have put up with me being distant, to those that have listened to me rant (especially Annette & Sharon) and my husband who has had to listen to me cursing at a computer screen...patience of a saint x

Stumbled across another memory, Body Control Pilates training course 20 years ago...how time flys.
A meal out with my fellow trainees on our last weekend.
Such a fun bunch of lasses ;)
