Not all cholesterol is bad. In fact, we need it!
It helps build and maintain our cells
We know that life is busy and that sometimes you can't always make the best choices and thats ok.
Every day we meet patients who were given Statins as a 'Just in case' or as a preventative measure (even without blood tests or heart problems)

Don't get us wrong some people need help to bring down those cholesterol levels but medicine isn't always that answer. The first advice should be lifestyle. What changes can you make to diet and exercise to reduce your cholesterol? Even the tablets won't work as well as they should if you've not changed those things.
We live in a world where we want a quick fix but trust us, your body will thank you if you look to what you're doing to it first.

If, once you've tried your best, your levels aren't down, then go back to your dr, but give it a try at home first
