What a wonderful day here at The Potteries!

Residents enjoyed a fun and friendly game of Giant Noughts & Crosses, filled with laughter, teamwork, and a little healthy competition.

Our pamper trolley was also a lovely success, bringing relaxing you & me time, hand pampering, chats, and smiles to residents throughout the day.

This afternoon, residents were delighted to welcome Caroline, our CRM, who delivered a fascinating talk all about her visit to the Buckingham Palace Garden Party. Residents thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the experience, the atmosphere, and all the royal memories shared. 👑🇬🇧

Another wonderful day full of meaningful moments here at The Potteries!

Residents enjoyed a sensory experience at the beach, taking in the sights, sounds and fresh sea air. There were smiles all around whilst enjoying delicious ice creams and spending quality time together.

Back at the home, residents relaxed during Music Therapy sessions, enjoyed special You & Me time, peaceful garden visits in the sunshine and took a lovely trip down memory lane reminiscing about life in the 1950’s.

To finish off the day, everyone had lots of laughs playing a brand new card game called Steal… safe to say it became very competitive very quickly!

A fun and meaningful day here at The Potteries for Dementia Action Week 💙

Staff joined in with a dress down day to help raise awareness for dementia, and of course our wonderful residents got involved too. From colourful outfits to plenty of smiles and laughter, it was all about coming together, starting conversations and showing support.

Here at The Potteries we’ve been making the most of Dementia Action Week with a day full of sunshine, smiles and meaningful moments ☀️💙

Residents enjoyed painting in the garden, gardening, singing, dancing, conversations and even a fun silent disco session. Of course, no sunny afternoon would be complete without ice creams enjoyed out in the fresh air.

We were also delighted to welcome little Rowan in for some playtime, bringing lots of smiles and intergenerational joy to everyone around him.
It’s the simple moments of connection, laughter and togetherness that truly make a difference.
