So when it takes your dog to say enough is enough time to stop and take a break, who could not resist taking a photo? As a director/clinical lead and counsellor/coach/supervisor, we/I forget that we/I, too, need to take a break.

I have not been posting recently due to a family bereavement and have taken the month off from client/supervision work, however, as always the Referrals, Admin, and Accounts still need to be sorted and worked on, this is the price we/I pay for being self-employed, I am not moaning, I feel very grateful I have my job and the lifestyle it allows me.

I wanted to post to show that life is not always what it appears to be, being the owner of a business has multiple aspects that others are not aware of, the time, the energy it takes to run a successful business.

Thank you to all those who have supported me during this time your support and understanding are very much appreciated, All my Supervisees, Counselling, Coaching & Mentoring Clients, Deborah Avery, Karl Touhey MBE & Anvil Group, All my 20 Associate Counsellors - it is wonderful how being human and vulnerable to those who you would normally hide your human pain, can be a big support during time of distress.

Masking is not a placement of calm and acceptance it is a place of safety where you can hide and no one can see the distress you are suffering
