We were blessed with the fabulous weather to celebrate Mid Summer’s Day, our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the garden with entertainment from New Tricks, they all enjoyed a good old singalong. One resident was lucky enough for the band to sing Happy Birthday to her 🌝🎂🎤 🎉

Some of our residents had a busy day today, word associated games and then Cookery Club, some of the cakes didn’t even make it to the plate 😂they did look delicious, other residents enjoyed some quiet time doing arts and crafts and drawing 🧁🎨👨‍🍳❤️

Our residents enjoyed Cookery Club this afternoon instead of the usual sweet delights they make James decided to try some pizza making, it’s safe to say they all enjoyed making their pizzas, picking their favourite toppings, they smelled and looked amazing 🍕👨‍🍳😋

Today we Celebrate our amazing wonderful Nurses and Carers, the work you do is just beyond words and we cannot thank you enough for the difference you make to our wonderful Residents lives, we are lucky and honoured to have you with us.

What an afternoon our Residents, their families and staff had at our VE Day Party yesterday afternoon. The home was decorated with bunting and balloons, we even managed to get a tank :), we had the fantastic band Meander here to entertain us, the residents enjoyed a good old sing along. All this was while everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with a delicious cake made by our chef Martyn. I think its safe to safe everyone slept well last night
