Moving with increasing awareness helps to quieten and still the mind and body whilst developing strength and clarity. It is a beautiful way get in touch with the spirit within each of us which, in turn, helps us to go with the flow of life and nature. This yoga flow is suitable for all levels and abilities, from complete beginners to well practiced yogis. Incorporating breath with movement and weaving in chanting, mudras and meditation to suit the individual. I look forward to sharing this beautiful practice with you all. Jo
About Jo - Holistic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher
Jo has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Jo qualified as a yoga teacher in 2006 and is a member of the Independent Yoga Network. A background in physiotherapy has been invaluable to her teaching as this in-depth awareness of the body allows her to readily adapt to the needs of the individual. Having completed the Heart of Living Yoga teacher training course this deepened and strengthened both her practice and teaching and Jo continues to be a student of life and yoga every day. Jo is passionate about holistic health and well-being and found yoga and complementary therapies to be invaluable in her life. She came to realise how important a feeling of openness, awareness, connection and wholeness really were to her. With this, and a sense of wonder and passion for life, things flowed and happened more easily. Jo believes this is our natural balanced state, one of wholeness and well-being. Offering additional therapies, including Havening Techniques (stress and anxiety management, trauma release, resilience building), Massage, Aromatherapy, Authentic Femininty (womb healings and blessings and mentoring) she works with individuals to regain natural balance. To return to a way of being that is authentic, full of vitality and peace of mind whilst learning to listen to, and trust, their inner wisdom and knowing.
